Download: J.ManifestO & JohnNY U. "The Operation" (EP)

These are the homies!! J.ManifestO & JohnNY U. link up with The Soulstice rep Ross Munroe (featured on the Aretha Beat Tape) drop a surprise EP, The Operation. As they put it, the EP was inspired by the weather, festive vibes/activities and having fun with their music. The tape serves as a precursor for many projects on the way, including the TMB / Throat Chop Music presented New Kingdom from Sons of the Cloth (which includes Lafayette Stokely and production from Moteleola). In the meantime, enjoy The Operation. CHEA!

What I'm Watching: Majid Jordan - "A Place Like This"

I dig Majid Jordan. Them dudes got this super chill vibe about them in their music. I'm anxious about their upcoming album considering I enjoyed their last EP, "afterhours".

Rah Digga - "Storm Comin'" ft. Chuck D (Prod. by Marco Polo)

What can I say about Rah Digga?! Since the days of Flipmode Squad, I've always been a fan. Plus, she's a Brick City native like myself so that's extra dope. On this Marco Polo laced track, she goes off about her road through the industry and gives folks some advice on navigating the trenches of it with the illustrious Chuck D. saying a few words himself. Check it!
