Rome Clientel - "RVD"

Rome once again handles business, this time over a 9th Wonder instrumental. Gotta hand it to dude, he hasn't let me down at all. This track is yet more proof of that. He's been busy with a Golden Era Music compilation project and a solo album in the future.

Elmira's Rome Clientel releases a new track titled "RVD." The track, ironically (and quite unintentionally) released the day after Wrestlemania, finds Rome in his element, reflecting on his past and sizing up his future, delivering aggressive bars with his trademark gritty delivery. While initially recording this track over a beat that he produced himself, he decided that it fit better over an old 9th Wonder instrumental called "Dollar Circulate," and so he re-recorded it.

Chris "Puzzle" Green - "Party Crashers" (Prod by The Quarter Inch Kings)

Really gritty track by by Chris Green and the Kings here that has me wanted to ride out on some G mode. Haha. I'll let the track speak for itself.

Chris "Puzzle" Green and The Quarter Inch Kings have paired up to bring you yet another joint/dj pack. Clever punchlines and heavy production being the norm from the long time collaborators you should know what to expect.

What I'm Watching: Sean Price - "Bar-Barian"

Do you have 2 minutes and 19 seconds? Use it on this video. "Young dummies...can't spar / No life / my flow tight...like your pants are". Sean Price is hilarious. "Mic Tyson" still bangs.

Talib Kweli - "Come Here" featuring Miguel

"Prisoner of Conscious" from the BK emcee Talib Kweli is out next month in May but for now, rock to this joint featuring Miguel that was produced by Sean C and LV of Grind Music. Real chill vibe you can play when you're in need of some inspiration to speak to someone you might have an eye on. I love when a track like this has some quality lyrics to them.

Brand new joint by the homie J-Live produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by the man himself. This right here is such a head nodder. We definitely could use a fun razor for some of the bullshit they're trying to pass off on the radio. Hit play and hear what I'm talking about. Dope.

Willie Green Esq.'s We Live In The Future (Album Release Party)

Willie Green returned home during his "Open Affairs Tour" to throw a release party for his new album "We Live In The Future". And he brought a few guests as well to help him celebrate the Fake Four Bistro released project. With performances by Warren S. Britt (Brooklyn), B. Durazzo (Oakland), Relic (Toronto), Dan Dillinger (Brooklyn), PremRock (NY), Fresh Kils and Mad Dukes (Toronto/Buffalo), and the man of the hour, Mr. William Green Esq., the night was a musically dope filled kind of night that I'm glad I attended at Spike Hill.

From getting to watch and hear one of the most energetic artists I've ever seen perform in Warren S. Britt, who was a last minute replacement for Emergency Service, to watching the skills of B. Durazzo work magic with dual MPCs, to Fresh Kils, Mad Dukes, and Relic rep Toronto respectively, there was more than enough evidence of talent in the room that night.

About half way through the night, we were blessed with the guest of honor Willie Green as he jumped on his Akai Ableton and played some new joints off his release live. Button after button he pushed recreating the music off "We Live In The Future" and the crowd reacted with as expected. Heads nodding, arms waving, and a few yells and whistling. All signs pointing to a successful night indeed.

As the event continued, we also got to see performances by hard working talents in PremRock, Corina Corina, Angi3, Illustrate, Loki The Trickster, Dan Dillinger, M.O.C.S., Reno Bang, with the latter three putting their own twists on a Macklemore track called "Can't Hold Us". All in all it was a very dope night that I don't regret participating in. Even with the drive. It was worth it!

Check the photos out after the jump, and don't forget to support Mr. Green Esq. too!
