Andre Lukiss "e.d.g.e. (The Remixes)"
MC/producer/singer Andre Lukiss unleashes the cool remix project, taking the homie e.d.g.e.'s vocals, in addition to adding vocal assistance himself. The result, e.d.g.e. (The Remixes). I dig it.

Wally Left "How It Be"
For his next release, North Carolina spitter Wally Left breaks down "How it Be," analyzing the power of his words and his determination to carve a niche in the rap game with his ability to rap. The beat from Yontz serves as a perfect soundbed for Wally's helter-skelter flow that dances around it effortlessly. As Wally and the rest of his No State Backgammon Gang brethren remain hard at work to provide their next individual projects, this release should serve to tide the fans over.

What I'm Watching: John Graham "All Seeing Eyes"
They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. Or something like that. Ha! The homie John Graham drops an ode to his wife, child and life on All Seeing Eyes. Sometimes life is a struggle but family and other motivation keeps us going in many cases. I can dig it. Enjoy the visuals and track.

Interview: Miss Special x BJ The Chicago Kid
I'm not gonna front and say I didn't sleep on BJ The Chicago Kid. Even after hearing him on hook after hook, I still didn't have his project. But then one day, I was like, shit, I just need to get that. I did. After running through it for the first time, I was kind of pissed I slept on it for so long. Pineapple Now-Laters is one of the strongest overall projects released this year and definitely one of the best R&B/Soul joints. If you aren't up on it, don't make the mistake I did and sleep any longer. Anyway, our good friend Miss Special caught up with BJ down at A3C. Peep their interview up top.
While at A3C I got to chat with BJ The Chicago Kid again about his upcoming collaborations and album on Motown Records. He says that a Jill Scott collaboration will happen and describes what it will be like. He also says that a Jojo song is in the works they just both need to find the right time and the right vibe. He also speaks about an upcoming track with Chuck Inglish that he's waiting for Chuck to release but says it's so hot he might have to steal it if it's not released soon enough. He also speaks about opening up for Anthony Hamilton and reminisces about hearing Hamilton's album for the first time. Additionally, he talks about the highlight of his live show and working on tracks to release before his Motown Records album.(via @MiSS1SPECiAL)
