MacGuyver ft. Waze - "Leave Us Lone" (#MACMONDAYS)

MacGuyver, on his third installment of #MACMONDAYS, recruits the talent of Waze to speak on the up hill battles they face in this world feeling behind the 8-Ball from the jump. Good soulful production that definitely helps me delve into this track, eyes closed, head nodding. Mac is now 3 for 3 and doesn't look like he'll be missing a shot soon. Check it.

Haz Solo "From A Creative Source"

New Haz Solo.
A good friend of mine, Jon Bivens, gave me numerous vinyl records before he passed away. After 3 years, I finally dusted them off from the place that they have been sitting for those years. Amongst the 50 something records I found a couple of albums from the 70's group Creative Source. I decided to chop the ones I felt could work. This is what came of it. Enjoy. -Haz Solo

Rome Clientel "One Life to Live" feat. Reks (Prod. by ATG)

This is the second single off Rome Clientel's The Empire 2: The Battlegrounds EP, sponsored by DJ Booth. This ATG-produced cut, featuring Boston great Reks, has both MCs chronicling their journey to reach this point, past all the obstacles that have stood in their path. Obviously, the journey hasn't ended for either of them (and in Rome's case, it has only begun), but at the end of the day, they only have one life to live and if the song is any indication, they are going to pursue this dream of theirs until the day they die.

NEW MUSIC: Kenton Dunson's "The Investment"

You pretty much can't tell me anything bad about Kenton Dunson. His latest mixtape, The Investment, featuring Lazee, John Legend, Mickey Factz, Rocki Evans and Natalie Imaniis, is exactly the Dunson I've come to know and love.

Also coming off of a strong win, he most recently became the reigning champion of XXL's Ready or Not Rap Battle and has earned a write up spot in XXL Magazine. Congratulations!

And to top it off, Dunson recently released the video for "Weapon" which you can see below, along with a playlist of two previous videos.

To download The Investment, peep it on his website dunsonmusic.com/the-investment and enjoy!

Throat Chop Music's Kevin Durant aka Top $ Raz drops off the hilarious Noisemaker Media directed visuals for On, produced by The Brown Bag AllStars very own Audible Doctor from Raz's Reign on the Parade project. And yes, Raz rapped under that mask the whole time. Ha! Oh and shouts to K Gaines and Joey on the cameos, and Otis Clapp in the getaway car. Enjoy. Chea!

Throat Chop Music Presents: Dremur "Planet X"

Throat Chop Music linked up with New York based emcee Dremur, who has been on a hiatus for two years, to release some new music. He jumps back on the music scene, following his Jinesis produced I'm On It, with the (sort of) Skin Diamond inspired Planet X over the Ski Beatz instrumental. Ha! Anyway, enjoy this joint and look out for more music from Dremur soon, including his Throat Chop Music debut project. Chea!
