Interview: Miss Special x Rapsody

Miss Special chops it up with North Carolina's very own Rapsody just after the release of her The Idea Of Beautiful. Another fresh interview. Enjoy.
Just two days after releasing her debut album "The Idea Of Beautiful", Rapsody calls into Special Sundays Radio Show to tell Miss Special about some of the tracks and her upcoming projects.

She spoke about working with Big Rube on "Motivation", as well as the decision to make the letter to Jay-Z inspired "Destiny". Rapsody also spoke about the surprise freestyle from Buckshot of Black Moon. Her track "Good Ol' Love" not only features BJ The Chicago Kid, but Rapsody's own mother. Rapsody also tells about deciding to go to South Africa for the making of her latest video "Kind Of Love". As for the rest of the year, in addition to more videos and touring, Rapsody plans to release four EP's including ones with Eric G and Oh No. Of course she will also be included on Kooley High's debut album exclusively produced by 9th Wonder at the top of 2013.

NEW RELEASE: Sha Stimuli "The Savior"

Another quality project from the homie Sha Stimuli. The Savior is part eight of his twelve part Rent Tape Series. He definitely lays it all on the line with his latest offering. I'll let Sha take the intro from here. Then hit play and enjoy.

"I started writing this EP, the eighth installment in The Rent Tape Series with the feeling that I could be some sort of savior the rap game. I listen to the radio and I hear the music that is popular and I get the feeling that there's nothing that is thought-provoking, honest or soul-nurturing and although I can't change the whole game, I wanted to spark a revolution.
I don't know what that revolution would be but I imagined what Tupac would do today musically to co-exist with Rick Ross and Lil Wayne in the mainstream and started to compose an EP. Then all of a sudden I realized that I myself needed saving as I noticed my focus was on things and people I cannot control. So some songs regard myself as a savior, others admit my own need for salvage, and finally I learn acceptance and I receive what is. As confusing as that may sound, that is...The Savior."

Interview: Miss Special x Nitty Scott MC

Yesterday Nitty Scott MC dropped The Boombox Diaries Vol. 1 and friend of TMB Miss Special had the opportunity to chop it up with her about the project. Peep the interview. Enjoy.
Nitty Scott, MC has finally released the project she has been waiting her whole life to give to the world. Today after releasing her EP "The Boombox Diaries Vol. 1" Nitty Scott, MC called in to talk to Miss Special of Special Sundays Radio Show for her first interview since the release. She spoke about wanting the EP to be something people can listen to without skipping a track and that being influenced by Lupe Fiasco's "Food & Liquor", as well as A Tribe Called Quest's "The Low End Theory" and "Midnight Marauders".

She also broke down different lyrics and song titles from the project, and explained that the diary entries were from her actual diary from the past two years. Coming up Nitty has tons of visual ideas for the EP and is doing work with Wyclef Jean.
