What I'm Watching: Brown Bag AllStars ''406'' (Fat Beats Tribute)

The Brown Bag AllStars return with the lead single / video from their upcoming Brown Label Pt 2. With 406, Brown Bag pays tribute to Fat Beats. As some might know, that's where the collective met and formed their crew. It's always dope to pay homage to where you've been as you prepare for where you're going. And BBAS continues to go and make their mark with the music. Hit play and enjoy the Photo Rob directed and Civil Productions edited vid and look out for Brown Label Pt 2 September 4th at BrownBagAllStars.com. Chea!

What I'm Watching: Shamel "Dwellin"

With a lot of emails dropping in the general inbox on a daily basis, a lot of stuff gets missed. But every so often I dig in and find a few gems among all of the mess. This is one of those joints. I caught this from Shamel Mu'Tazz, the Connecticut raised Boston based emcee/producer. This joint is off of his Buy Your Dreams or Sell Your Soul project, over the cella dwellaz beat. Peep the vid and enjoy the track. Chea!

Apathy - "Be A Better Man " ft. Bishop Lamont & Blue Raspberry

Apathy confesses on "Be A Better Man" touching on subjects I'm sure some of us battle with daily. This track features Bishop Lamont who adds his own perspective on the struggles of life as well. Good track.

On 9-11-2012, Apathy will be releasing two projects; one of them is a double-disc opus of collaborations, freestyles and unreleased material entitled "Fire Walk With Me". The other release, "The Alien Tongue," is a collection of his unreleased early 90's demo recordings, predating his debut appearances on Jedi Mind Tricks' "Psycho-Social" LP. Both releases can be pre-ordered together along with an exclusive T-shirt bundle over at www.demigodzstore.com where you can also find the full track listings.
