I know we've all been here before. When someone tells you something & the part of you that doubts asks them to "put that on something." - Kirby Lauryen

Download: NOM (@Nom_illmatic) - "Different Breed" (Hosted by DJ S.Whit)
Came upon this free mixtape in the inbox from a newcomer to the site. Nom holds his own on this first solo mixtape without a doubt. Most of the production on this is not like many of the music that passes through here. That's not to say that it's not quality or lacking. Lyrically, he brings things to the table that I personally don't hear enough of. Another plus. Overall, this mixtape is a definite listening pleasure and for the price of free doesn't hurt either. All you gotta do is hit play to see if you dig it yourself.

Dwele - "What Profit"
Dwele on his new track sounding like he went to that Joe Thomas' School For Women Thieving. Over here singing about how he'd treat your girl considering you're spending much of your time stacking them chips and all that. Haha! Watch your back, fellas. Song is dope, something for the summer that's off his 6th album that drops on August 28th.

What I'm Watching
What I'm Watching: Coach Sean Price Tells Aspiring Rappers They Suck, Part 1
Shit is hilarious. Sean Price, within the last few years, has become a more funny dude than usual while maintaining his skills on the mic. According to Duck Down, Sean P was involved in a tragic car accident that effected his vocal cords so he's now doing these clinics. This is a reality show I'd cancel everything to watch. I love the satire of it. Haha!!
