NEW RELEASE: Agartha Audio & Taiyamo Denku "Quadrofiendia"

With Agartha Audio on the beat and Taiyamo Denku on the verses, this is a joint follow up to their respective Uncommon Records projects. Quadrofiendia is a solid offering. Featuring Sadat X, Craig G, Teddy Faley, Masai Bey and others, this project has a really fresh and cohesive vibe to it. I dig it. Peep the stream below and if you're so inclined, cop it.

Motel Eola "We Three Kings"

I keep telling folks to keep an eye on this kid. The 19-year-old South East London producer Motel Eola drops another solid instrumental in We Three Kings. Dude decided to sample the Ella Fitzgerald Christmas themed classic and made it into a banger. This cut didn't make his debut Kids Looking for Gold but he wanted to share regardless. Look for his instrumental project in September, in the meantime, enjoy this joint. Chea!

What I'm Watching: Cavalier "Activated"

Cavalier is that dude. I peeped this vid a few days back. Dope. Finally getting the chance to post. Enjoy. Chea!
Rocksmith presents "Activated" featuring Brooklyn based, globetrotting new comer, Cavalier. Produced by Spills, this world music infused anthem is the first up from the maxi single "New Aeon". "Activated" was filmed in Kolkata, India, the old British capital highlighting the life, sights and sounds of the beautiful people in Lansdowne. The self proclaimed "2012 Melle Mel" entices us to move ourselves right along into the "New Aeon" with this upbeat banger.

BEATS: LMNtlyst "Popcorn Earworm"

I caught this project from Milwaukee producer LMNtlyst a few days back. I'm definitely feeling the vibe on the Popcorn Earworm. I dig it. Enjoy the beats.
LMNtlyst is a multi-instrumentalist/producer/engineer that has crafted some extremely versatile and interesting compositions/beats and arranged them into this unique opus, Popcorn Earworm. He utilizes a legion of instruments to organize his musical army. Women and children take cover, the assault is imminent. You will hear expected instruments like bass, guitar, drum machines and turntables. You will then be surprised by a sneak attack of sounds from kalimba, melodica, squeezebox, ukulele, toy piano, iPhone and many other exotic noisemakers. The title, Popcorn Earworm, comes from the LMNtlyst's knack for making cinematic music that could fit perfectly on any movie score but has enough Pop flavor to get stuck in your ear and have you humming it all day.
