Andy Suzuki & The Method "Lucy" (Live at Quad Studios)
A few days ago the homies Andy Suzuki & The Method dropped off the cool visuals for Take Care Of Me from their The Ghost Stories EP. But these guys are always working on new music. Recently Andy stepped into Quad Studios to record a live acoustic version of Lucy from their upcoming project. Shouts to Chris O'Konski behind the lens. I'm a big fan of Andy and the crew, and I'm looking forward to more of their new stuff. In the meantime, enjoy this cool preview. Chea!

@KirbyLauryen's A Song A Day: Day 137
It's the principle of the situation. Ha! Kirby definitely gets real on this joint where an argument with your current lover turns into a call to your ex.
"So I had an idea today and I went for it! That's what song a day is about right? So here we are. I hope you enjoy the song I wrote for you today, and the visual!" -KL

Slaughterhouse w/ guests Duece Bug and more (Pics & Vids)
Slaughterhouse came through CT once again but after a longer time in the industry, folks must have been a lot more hip to who they were because the place was packed as hell. Wall to wall fans lined up to see these four lyrical monsters do what they're known to do on the mic. Their personalities on Twitter and their video blogs, which is up to number 6 now, add a lot to who these guys are which in turn brings more fans to the show. But let's not forget, the homies Duece Bug, Chuck Nickels, and White Cheddar helped get the night started. With their energetic stage presence, these cats spit lyrics after lyrics while using practically every inch of the stage to liven up the crowd. Overall, it was a dope ass night. You could feel the intensity in the air and that Hip-Hop was definitely in the building. If you missed it or want to relive it, check these photos and videos out. Shoutout to my friend E for helping me shoot some of the show. Also, peep our Facebook page for even more photos. (Link on the right.)

What I'm Watching: Daley - "Alone Together" ft. Marsha Ambrosius
I know I'm 3 months late on this and I apologize but damn, this joint is smooth as hell. I'm super brand new to Daley and very familiar of Marsha and all I can say is they make an incredible pair on this track. Definitely more of my kind of R&B here. Apparently, he only has this one video out but I'm keeping an ear and eye out for this cat. Extremely dope.

Interview: Special Sundays x Rocky Rivera
Rocky Rivera is dope. Miss Special is dope. Peep their chop session. Ha!
Words By Miss Special
Rocky Rivera is a woman that along her career has held many amazing hats and alias'. "Miss Krish is the journalist. EyeASage is a member of the Rhapsodistas which has since disbanded.. Rocky Rivera is the woman sitting right here today. Oh and Dr. Rocky? She only comes out when you need her.. The mad scientist" Rocky Rivera explains.
Currently Rocky Rivera is a successful, underground, independent rapper with a great following of what she likes to call her "Rocky Soldiers". When Rocky Rivera visited Special Sundays Radio Show with Miss Special on KSFS, it was like a walk down memory lane. Most of her path to success started there at San Francisco State University.

Writer's Guild (Mr. Miranda, MC Pennywise, RoQy TyRaiD, Random) - "Armed"
Arizona's Avengers on the mic? Fantastic Four? Fearsome Foursome? Either way, these cats go off on this track produced by Lifted of G.O.O.D Music/The New FOs. For a good 5 minutes, they attack the mic with a focused intensity that results in a work of wonder for "Armed". Hear for yourself.

What I'm Watching: Task1ne feat.Yae - "Villain"
Shoutout to Mr. @BelascoBlack for informing me about this joint. I must have played it about 4 to 5 times straight. Got me thinking about how I missed concepts this creative in music, especially Hip-Hop. Visually and lyrically. I know have to do more homework on these cats the way they put it down on this joint. Check it.
Villain is off Task1ne's album "DISTRICT 916" available on iTunes

Pro'Verb, G-Two, AP The Prince, & Lyriciss "No Mercy"
DMV stand up! PRO'Verb, G-Two, AP the Prince and Lyriciss do damage on this track. Straight murderous. You know I typically frown on the use of overused popular beats but these DMV heavyweights deliver on the Kanye West Mercy beat. I dig it. Hit play and enjoy. Chea!

Naturetone "Over the Horizon" feat. Thirtyseven
I definitely dig the vibe.
This track is a cut from Naturetone’s second solo album for World Around, Turnings of the Sun, which is an ambitious & expansive project showcasing his continued growth as not only a producer but a composer. The song is a tribute to the unbelievable life of explorer Richard Francis Burton.
