What I'm Watching: Task1ne feat.Yae - "Villain"
Shoutout to Mr. @BelascoBlack for informing me about this joint. I must have played it about 4 to 5 times straight. Got me thinking about how I missed concepts this creative in music, especially Hip-Hop. Visually and lyrically. I know have to do more homework on these cats the way they put it down on this joint. Check it.
Villain is off Task1ne's album "DISTRICT 916" available on iTunes

Pro'Verb, G-Two, AP The Prince, & Lyriciss "No Mercy"
DMV stand up! PRO'Verb, G-Two, AP the Prince and Lyriciss do damage on this track. Straight murderous. You know I typically frown on the use of overused popular beats but these DMV heavyweights deliver on the Kanye West Mercy beat. I dig it. Hit play and enjoy. Chea!

Naturetone "Over the Horizon" feat. Thirtyseven
I definitely dig the vibe.
This track is a cut from Naturetone’s second solo album for World Around, Turnings of the Sun, which is an ambitious & expansive project showcasing his continued growth as not only a producer but a composer. The song is a tribute to the unbelievable life of explorer Richard Francis Burton.

Motel Eola "Pryor to This"
I've been meaning to write about the 19-year-old South East London beat maker Motel Eola for sometime now. So, I guess now is the time. Ha! The dude is definitely talented and he's got some great stuff. Pay attention to the kid and you'll definitely being seeing more features on Motel. But for now, enjoy Pryor to This. Chea!

What I'm Watching: ScienZe & King I Divine "Hero"
I blast this joint at least a dozen times a week. Hero is one of my favorite cuts off of the ScienZe and King I Divine Divine ScienZe project. After hitting the 20k mark on their Enjoy Tonight vid, the duo unleashed the Jerome D directed visuals for this anthem of sorts. Hit play and enjoy. Chea!

John Graham "Uncivil Rights"
Yesterday afternoon John Graham sent this track over to me. When I hit play, I was immediately moved by the MrMadflowTV Music produced cut. Uncivil Rights spoke to me. And by the end of the night, I pulled together the artwork for him and it was live on bandcamp. Now I share the end result. Enjoy. Chea!
"This song gives you a glimpse into what I believe to be a much needed dialogue with ourselves. Uncivil Rights is an uncomfortable look into race, religion, and class in the country I live in. If this song offends you then my mission is only partially accomplished. If I encourage you to examine yourself then my task is complete!"
