TMB Presents BLAX "Internet Sex" (Director's Cut)
Following the audio release, BLAX returns with the director's cut video for Internet Sex. The vid was shot and filmed in Tribeca by Darren Cole, near what used to be DD172. Some of the inside footage was shot in the basement studio of the art gallery and studio space once owned by media mogul Dame Dash. The behind the scenes footage includes an impromptu freestyle near the end by BluRoc Records recording artist DA$H with additional beat boxing by Ski Beatz. According to BLAX, the footage was caught in between taking breaks of recording while standing in front of DD172. Enjoy the video. Chea!

Savant x medafORACLE x Mr. Miranda - "Bar Enrichment" (Prod. by i2k)
Savant is back on the blog and he brought back up. This new joint is tough but I don't expect much less from the homie. Hip-Hop right here so hit play and let your speakers soothe your ears. Dopeness. Check it.
To celebrate the launch of KristianEliz.com and his arrival at 1000 Twitter followers, Savant aka Stanstro has linked with the new site and every indie hip hop head's favorite YouTube channel, SpreadingDopeMusic, to bring you the exclusive jawn "Bar Enrichment". Flanked by a lush, key driven soundscape courtesy of Illinois beatsmith i2k, the Chicago bred emcee links with Arizona wordsmiths medafORACLE and Mr. Miranda to provide explanation on the importance of writers' therapy.

@KirbyLauryen's A Song A Day: Day 130
"We all deal with rejection at some point of our lives. Whether it's not being invited to a party or the person you like clearly not liking you back. Rejection leaves an imprint on your mindset. It affects the way you go after things or seek people. So I wanted to write a song about that but not necessarily feeling as weighty as the subject. There comes a point in love, in life, where you have to go for what you want. If you never ask you'll never know. If the answer is yes or NO, ya know? lol :) see you tomorrow!" -KL

Marvin Gaye "Ain't That Peculiar" (Oddisee Remix)
Oddisee is dope. Anyone who disagrees probably hates music. The emcee/producer is gearing up to release his new album, People Hear What They See, next month, and according to Mello Music Group, instead of the standard issue single leaks, Oddisee wants to make things a bit more interesting. So, next week he will be giving away his remix of Marvin Gaye's Ain't That Peculiar, in addition to three other Oddisee crafted remixed songs by K-Os, Bon Iver and Metronomy. The collection, Odd Renditions, kicks off with this dope video using old footage and pulling together a cool package over the Oddisee remixed track. Enjoy. Chea!

@KirbyLauryen's A Song A Day: Day 129
I respect Kirby's ability to not only consistently maintain writing, recording and posting great music daily, but to always keep some sort of fresh hairstyle with all that damn hair of hers. Neither seems to be the easiest of tasks. But Kirby gets it done. Ha! Enjoy her latest song in the A Song A Day series. And be sure to share it with the world.

Logic & Raze "Kites"
Logic & Raze are a damn creative duo. I'm gonna let the homie JC Poppe do the intro here but what I will say is this is a pretty damn dope track. I dig it. Enjoy. Chea!
If you are a fan of music, I'm sure that you have come across the fantastic track by The Violent Femmes called "Blister in the Sun."via JC Poppe
The Femmes,who are from the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area have left a strong legacy of tunes that are ingrained not only in the culture of Wisconsin but in the culture of alternative music everywhere.
In an attempt to pay homage to the great alt group, Milwaukee duo Logic & Raze have re-interpreted the song and modernized it for a whole new generation.
Their original take on the classic is called "Kites" and contains all of the great qualities of the original track while giving it a unique bend for those who embrace both the hip-hop and alternative rock cultures, and has been released today!
Even more basically, if "Blister" made you/makes you dance, then "Kites" is definitely going to make you dance.
