What I'm Watching: Jitta On The Track - "Lumberjack"
That Justin Bieber cardboard cutout throughout the video is kinda hilarious. Peep Jitta On The Track's new video. He's living the Lumberjack life.

Stik Figa - "Medicine"
This Stik Figa track is smooth and filled with a lot of mental provoking lyrics that no doubt compliments the production. If you haven't checked out "As Himself", I suggest you give it a try.
Stik Figa hits the ground running questioning the metrics of masculinity; drawing parallels between the motivation behind armed robbery and playing the lotto; and explaining how for many “Ready to Die is a religion and philosophy.”
“The hands that picked cotton could today build monuments. The kid who cooked crack could be a chemist or a pharmacist.”

James John - "SigNs!"
Flowing over Kev Brown's "Can't Stay Away" instrumental, James John gives us a taste of what his second Quan joint venture with SoulKlap will sound like. This joint sounds dope.

Off my favorite album of 2012 currently "Take Me To Your Leader", ¡MAYDAY! drops a remix to a "Roaches" with a couple of folks that may know a thing or two about them.
"Dig into the ashtray and light one up to the "Roaches" Remix with Spaceghost Purrp & Cyhi Da Prince..."

OTiS CLaPP - "Pick Ya Pants Up"
"Pick ya fucking pants up. You're a grown ass man. Nobody wants to see your fucking boxers, stupid." Word to Otis Clapp on this track. No surprise in the rawness Otis comes with on "Pick Ya Pants Up", as he goes through talk of who he is, about not being politically correct, possibly gun butting your grandmother, and his significant other resembling Sanaa Lathan. It's like I wanna say he's back but by the sound of this joint, he ain't go nowhere! Check it!

@KirbyLauryen's A Song A Day: Day 123 & 124
We've been consistently posting Kirby's A Song A Day series since the end of February. Didn't realize that we've run through two full months and have jumped into yet another. And as each day goes by, Kirby grows more and more, both in popularity and sound. She continues to churn through her ambitious series with day 123 and 124. We salute her commitment to sharing music daily. Chea!

Rome Duran "Didn't I"
When Rome Duran's Straight to the Moon project first dropped, I gave it a quick listen and then forwarded it to TMB contributor EMS. She handles a lot of the R&B and soul stuff. It bounced around back and forth between us and then off to OC Supreme. Somewhere in that process it got lost in the mix. Sometimes that happens. But then I found myself stumbling back on it today and vibing. I'm happy I did. It's definitely a solid offering. Check out my favorite cut Didn't I and if you're so inclined, check the full project here. Chea!

What I'm Watching: Szjerdene "Turn"
I often go off that Hip-Hop path. It keeps me sane. And when I go off that path, I stumble into some pretty dope music. Today, I find Szjerdene and the video for Turn off of her Patchwork EP. I definitely dig the vibe of this track and the mood of the video. Now I'm curious to hear more. But in the meantime, enjoy the music. Chea!
