What I'm Watching: Melissa Czarnik "Stay High" feat. Patrice Downey

Last week Milwaukee's Melissa Czarnik reached a fundraising goal that will allow her to head out to France to record her next album. To celebrate, she released the Dylan Thomas produced Stay High, which features Patrice Downey. The video is directed by long time collaborator Eric Mire and Melissa herself. Enjoy. #latepass: Supper Club "Spirit Cove Edition"

Super late pass on this one. SUPER LATE! I kinda blame gmail for not letting me be great or perhaps it's my inability to stay organized sometimes with the clutter of my inbox. Regardless, this joint is dope. This project hit the Internets at the top of the year as part of an artist retreat project including Dylan Thomas, Charles English, Haz Solo, Jason Jones, Victor Yañez-Lazcano and Miguel Rodriguez, collectively known as The Supper Club. The concept of getting away to create has always been a dope one. I definitely appreciate what they did with this project too. Oddisee "Slow It Down"

From Mello Music Group comes another family album to highlight the new year. Self Sacrifice features production from Apollo Brown, Black Milk, Gensu Dean, illMind, Nick Tha 1Da,
