What I'm Watching: RAtheMC "Coming to the Stage"
RAtheMC back. With new music off of her upcoming The Grace Jones Experiment, the DMV representative lays fire to her new track Coming to The Stage (directed by Jay Dexter Media and produced by Jay Fresh Kicks). Her team is calling it, "homage to RAtheMc’s new found career freedom and is a celebration to the year of success that is ahead for the Female MC." I can dig it. I'm definitely looking forward to the new music. The Grace Jones Experiment due out March 27th. Chea!

What I'm Watching: Action Bronson & Party Supplies "Hookers at the Point"
Action Bronson drops the visuals for Hookers at the Point off his Blue Chips project due out March 12th with Party Supplies.
Action Bronson & Party Supplies have crafted a hypnotic joint that takes us to the streets of Hunts Point in 1993. Inspired by the classic HBO documentary of the same name, Action offers up a shocking first hand account from the stunted lives of streetwalkers: Cyndi, a prostitute addicted to crack, Silk, a violent, misogynistic pimp and Ramón, a former athlete turned junkie. TMB Presents: Madden Miles "Large Marge Sent Me"
Returning to beat making last year, Wisconsin's Madden Miles has pushed out two successful TMB presented projects (Season Change and The Donny Hathaway Beat Tape), in addition to some beat placements and projects of his own. I enjoy working with the dude. Now he returns with a major co-sign from Large Marge (yes, that Marge) on the new beat tape Large Marge Sent Me.
"I brought a lot of new evolved methods I've been practicing," said Madden Miles about the new project. "The most fun I've had made making a project."
Definitely a solid effort from the homie, who continues to grow and develop with each beat. Hit play and enjoy. Chea!

Savant x Random x Phill Harmonix - "Just Wanna Know" (Hexsagon Remix)
Hexagon puts his producer's touch on this track in such a dope way, it has me zoning out on repeat. This joint is quality. Read a little about the track and then hit that play button.
Fresh off of the release of the 4th installment of his "Beat Flip Tuesdays", Hexsagon releases a new remix featuring 3 of Arizona's premier ink slingers, Random aka Mega Ran, Savant aka Stanstro and Phill Harmonix. The soulfully laced backdrop sets the stage as each emcee waxes inquisitively about the issues troubling each of them today. Be on the look out for the impending release of new projects from all 4 artists and also for Random's Vs. Tour coming to a city near you.

MKE's BEST (2 Years Later)
In the two years since MKE's Best we've continued to build great relationships with many of the folks out of the Milwaukee area, including BLAX, Maal Himself, Signif, SPEAK Easy, Haz Solo, Dylan Thomas, Dana Coppa, Audio Pilot, KingHellBastard, Reason, Dima, Michelle of UniFi Records, Melissa Czarnik, Raze, JC Poppe, Eric Mire, AUTOMatic and many others. We're fortunate to have this cool connection to Milwaukee.
We thought on this anniversary we should repost this important project that was a pretty big moment in TMB history and part of our ongoing relationship in Wisconsin. If this is your first time checking this project, enjoy this music. Chea!

Kirby Lauryen's A Song A Day: Day 62
"I wrote a song for you today. Help me tell the world?" -KL
The best part of Kirby's videos, outside of the music obviously, is the humility in her outro (and sometimes intro) dialogue. For such a talented person to be so down to earth is dope. As I mentioned before, we're committed to sharing her music with our readers. If you dig it, be sure to share it with others too. Stay tuned. Chea!
