Apollo Brown & OC - "Prove Me Wrong" (Live From HeadQCourterz Radio Rip)
OC is back with his dope, lyrical, poetic, deep style of flow on a track produced by the highly talented Apollo Brown with "Prove Me Wrong" which debuted on DJ Premier's Sirius Satalite Show. OC's upcoming album will be produced by Apollo Brown so I know it's one of those "already bought" type of joints. I don't have to think twice. Check this track and listen to what I'm talking about.

What I'm Listening To: Kirby Lauryen "The Introduction"
An amazing addition was made to the world of music with the release of her much anticipated EP The Introduction. And after easily falling in love with this project, I'm already looking forward to her next release scheduled to drop in March. As said before about great artists a million times over, this talented songstress could sing the phone book and make it sound incredible.
Kirby Lauryen, you are a gem. Thank you.
Tell your mom and all of your friends that this young lady is a star. Check out her EP below.

Interview: Special Sundays x Kay Cola
Miss Special strikes again! Enjoy.
Friday night I got to speak with Grammy nominated song writer and singer Kay Cola before her show with her father, Hurbert Laws at Yoshi's in San Francisco. We spoke about her background in music, including her degree from Loyola Marymount University and if she will continue songwriting. We also spoke about her project "Love & Music", working with Skyzoo & Christian Rich and her vision for the hopefully upcoming "Home" video. We also spoke about working on the new K. Roosevelt project, I pitched the idea of her doing a duet with BJ The Chicago Kid and she talked about what's next for her.(via @MiSS1SPECiAL)

What I'm Watching: ForteBowie "Impala"
Fresh track from ForteBowie with a set of cool visuals to match. But one thing, why is there a Chevy Camaro in a video for a track named Impala? Here's OC Supreme chilling in Connecticut just itching for an opportunity to get Knight Rider (his all black everything Impala) into a video and yet ForteBowie opts for a Camaro to be the central figure with his beautiful co-star. That's cool because this Camaro is dope as shit too. Ha! I'm sure there's a reason why the Camaro is in the vid and perhaps the quote at the end explains it all. Either way, dope track. I dig it. Enjoy. Chea!
