Jay Smooth "Phony" (A Song For Mitt Romney)

"After Jay-Z recorded "Glory" to welcome his new daughter into the world, I wondered what it would sound like if Republican voters made a song to welcome Mitt Romney as their now-inevitable nominee."

Jay Smooth delivers with his track for Mitt Romney over the Glory beat. A remix I support and endorse. Ha!

What I'm Watching: Blax "King"

Blax- "King" Outro from Bradford Hill on Vimeo.

The homie Blax (formerly Adebisi) delivers a new video with Bradford Hill behind the lens for one of my favorite cuts off the TMB presented The Blaxploitation Part II. Blax puts it all on the line with this cut. Look out for more music from the NYC by way of Milwaukee emcee real soon. In the meantime, enjoy the vid. Chea!

TMB Presents: SigNif "Dynamite" (Prod. by Madden Miles)

SigNif is like family to The Mad Bloggers. She's one of those rare individuals that we know outside of the Internet. She's super talented too. Since discovering her Flawed project a while back, we've tried to support what she does. Many projects later, her music and sound have developed a lot since hearing those early tracks. It's dope when you see that growth in someone you've been rooting for. Recently she linked up with TMB on the tentatively titled Hathadays project (which includes a few other emcees), taking cuts from the Madden Miles produced Donny Hathaway beat tape, A Beat For You. Sig lets loose on Dynamite, which premiered earlier today on Ep 103 of Hip-Hop Breakfast. Stop sleeping on the girl. Hit play and enjoy this one. Chea!

NEW RELEASE: The Cranberry Show "Paranormal Karaoke"

I've either come to fully appreciate their sound or The Cranberry Show have grown more within their music. I've always liked what Young Focus and Arcane did with their music. Their sound has always been bold, creating the music they liked and believed in. But I've always said that the Milwaukee duo delivers music that's an acquired taste but sonically they've done something special with their DJBooth and DonutsAndMilk.com backed project that is unlike any of their previous projects. I dare to even say, this is their finest work to date and if you weren't paying attention to them before, you should press play on Paranormal Karaoke. I have a feeling you might enjoy this one. Chea!

What I'm Watching: John Graham "Dear Diary" feat. Esha J. (Prod. by Shade Cobain)

"The city of Philadelphia serves as the canvass for this vivid painting in motion. We all have private thoughts that the world may not understand, but there's always someone else out there who truly gets it!"

The homie John Graham delivers up the first set of visuals for his latest project Success In Retrograde EP. Dear Diary takes you through his writing process, which is always an interesting side to see in an emcee. Definitely a cool cut. Hit play and enjoy. Chea!
