It's like watching an artist paint. Or like watching a master chef cook. Or even like watching an amazing swimmer swim. It draws your attention. DJ Brace takes hold of his craft and creates an amazing sound in the simple yet captivating SYNESTHASIA video. Shouts to J57 for the link. Fresh. Enjoy.

Interview: Miss Special x Hawdwerk & Jansport J
Miss Special aka Miss Interview chops it up with Hawdwerk & Jansport J in an interview last year. She's on a mini hiatus right now but Special Sundays Radio Show returns January 29th, in the meantime enjoy the hilarity of this interview.
Last season on Special Sundays Radio Show I got to talk again to the hilarious Hawdwerk & Jansport J about their newest album "Black Balls". In the midst of the many jokes, we spoke about the idea behind the title, what happened behind the scenes while shooting their promo video and their "interesting friends" Elliot Alwood and Keith Grand. We also spoke about the narrator Tobias, and the process behind writing tracks the stand out tracks "My Type", "Proverbs", "Black Man" and "F*ck Jansport J" and more.

What I'm Watching: Joe Cool "I Wanna Sell Drugs"
Way back in September Joe Cool dropped the audio for this self-produced track off of his upcoming Cooley Hi. The video really brings the visuals together to the self-reflective track about hardship and grindin' with music. The new project drops January 19th. In the meantime, if you're looking for weed, holla at Joe he got what you need. Ha!

What I'm Watching: Gods'illa "Sal's Pizzeria"
Those DMV boys are back with another solid video for a dope cut from their CPR Blendtape hosted by DJ Lo' Down Loretta Brown aka Erykah Badu. With the vid for Sal's Pizzeria, the crew take inspiration from Spike Lee's Do The Right Thing, complete with a Radio Raheem in all his glory, which includes the 'Love Hate' four finger rings, boombox and the ill fade. Ha! Enjoy the vid. Chea!

What I'm Watching: Andy Suzuki & The Method "Her Ghost"
That boy Andy got more tattoos than an NBA player. Ha! But on a more serious note, Andy Suzuki & The Method serve up a solid track off of their upcoming project The Ghost Stories EP, which you can pre-order here. I've long been a fan of the group, having known Kozza (band member) and Andy for a while now. These guys are talented and while I try to convince them to do a cover project, you'll have to enjoy Her Ghost, which is a solid track accompanied by a beautiful video. Hit play, enjoy and look for more from Andy Suzuki & The Method soon. Chea!

Hip-Hop Breakfast Ep 96
I'm back. And with some new artwork no less, courtesy of OC Supreme behind the lens and the beautiful Jules Renae as our cover girl. I personally got tired with looking at my bum ass on the cover (and it's okay if you did too). This is definitely more visually pleasing. So, shouts to both of them.
Well, with just about a five week hiatus, Hip-Hop Breakfast is back to jump start the week. With a gang of solid music released between the last episode and now, Ep 96 finds a nice mix of material from the likes of Jean Grae, Common, Soul Khan, my rap guilty pleasure Rick Ross, Elle Maxwell and more. Mellow in the beginning, hyped by the end, HHB is back. Enjoy. Chea!
01. L.A. - A Place
02. Jean Grae - U&Me&EveryoneWeKnow
03. Soul Khan - I Should Die Today
04. Common - Lovin' I Lost
05. Elle Maxwell feat. Cliff Lewis - Only Wanna Give It To You (Remix)
06. Rapper Big Pooh feat. Donny Goines & Raven Sorvino - Don't Say Goodbye
