Jinesis "The Coffee Shop"
One of Jinesis's first endeavors, The Coffee Shop (Vol. 1) was intended to be a companion of sorts to J. Dilla's "Donuts" by utilizing some of the late producers same sample choices chopped differently. However, somewhere along the way, the project became it's own stand alone project and alerted the online beat community to what Jinesis's chops and drums were like. An early work but definitely one of the projects closer to his heart, it's been condensed and re-packaged for a more concise listening experience.

G-Eazy "Lost in Translation"
A cool new track from TMB favorite G-Eazy. On his newest cut, he delivers up Lost in Translation, a track adapted from "PONPONPON", a catchy J-Pop song by きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ (aka Kyary Pamyu Pamyu). Alongside the Swiss Chriss and Christoph Andersson assisted cut is a rework of Bill Murray's Lost in Translation movie cover art. Another solid offering from the New Orleans by way of Cali rapper. Enjoy.

Savant - "Soul Music" feat Charity Clay & DJ J20 (prod. by Camufingo)
It feels like it's been a long minute since Savant's music graced TMB's site but without further ado, he's back. He didn't come alone either. With the lyrical help of Charity Clay, these two go back and forth sharing the mic causing me to zone out and head nod even after hitting repeat a few times. Add DJ J20's cuts and scratches and you get a classic Hip-Hop feel to it that I can't ever say no to, it seems. Definitely check this out and be ready for more from Savant. You can also check out more from him on this site by clicking here: Savant.
As Savant's #CrashCourse arrives at its penultimate checkpoint (#13), the emcee teams with Oakland, by way of Minneapolis, lyricist Charity Clay to pay tribute to music's multitude of genres on the aptly titled jawn "Soul Music". Backed by production from German-Angolan soundsmith Camufingo, precise scratching and cuts from Scottsdale, Arizona's DJ J20, and vocals from San Francisco songbird Shakalyn, this sonic venture between Liquid Sound Recordings, The Mad Bloggers, and Womazing.comhttp://www.Womazing.com provides a stirring platform for this talented collection of artists all paying homage through their art.
