What I'm Watching: Soul Khan "Hold On"
After some minor technical problem yesterday, Soul Khan delivers the video for Hold On off his Audible Doctor produced EP Pursuance. Directed by Nicolas Heller, Hold On finds Soul Khan dressed as Santa and Audible Doctor as a rouge elf. Just in time for the holidays. The best comment on the video comes from youtube with, "It's funny because he's dressed as Santa....But he's very Jewish." Enjoy.

Lyriciss - "Get It And Go" (Prod by Soulful Cuts by DJ I-Dee)
Yep! Lyriciss is making heads nod with this joint right here. He rapped about respect in his last EP and now it's about time to speak on the dough in many different aspects. New single of his next projects explains it much more.

Chuuwee - "Keep It Real (On The Real)" feat. Mean Doe Green (Prod. by ENG)
Chuuwee and Mean Doe Green. Damn, son. Damn. I'm not gonna act like I know every track dude ripped but what I do know of Chuuwee is enough to recommend his music to folks. Same goes for the other blog usual, Mean Doe Green. I can't imagine these two ill emcees doing a full length album. Damn, son. Damn. This track is giving me a throwback feel, sort of like an older Heltah Skeltah or something like that. This shit is dope. Love what you heard....that's after you hit play, of course.

Common "Dooint (Sauce Fonda Remix)"
In the anticipation for Common's new album, "The Dreamer, The Believer", I have taken the time to remix one of Common's singles. I was planning on doing an short EP of remixes before the actually release of "The Dreamer, The Believer", but I just don't have the time anymore. But I thought I would send this joint I knocked out today. Hope you enjoy it and thank you for listening.

What I'm Watching: Easy Does It - "Feelin' Like Ooh"
As we travel on the different side of TMB's track, we run into Easy Does It out of Atlantic City. Vocalist Jake describes their group using two others: The Roots x Sublime. I saw The Roots and immediately became curious. Their style is definitely a change of pace from what we normally post on here but after a few listens, I can honestly say I dig it. Sometimes, it's cool to switch it up and I think here's a good enough time as any. Thoughts?

Chase Supreme - "Apocalypse Now "
With the title of this track and the tribal influenced production, you immediately get the sense that Chase Supreme (no relation to me, haha) is trying to give the listeners a message much heavier than your normal Hip-Hop track. He separates himself from those rappers that are doing it solely for the glam and the glitz and wants to be taken much more serious than that. It's not a bad track overall and I think the lyrics outshine the production on "Apocalypse Now" but this is one man's opinion. Check it out for yourself.
Chase Supreme has been teasing fans over the past couple of months with a few of his older tracks and an Instrumental EP. Now, the Newark, Delaware-based rapper/producer gives fans his first single, "Apocalypse Now", off of his upcoming mixtape, "Blue Lotus".

What I'm Watching: The Doppelgangaz - "At Night"
The LGhastly Duo are roaming the streets and if you don't have your cloaks on, you might become victim to the night. This joint is chill as hell. Damn. These cats keep it simple in the video and that works perfectly for them because their music is the talk and action. I remember when I got this album in the mail, put it in the ride and just coasted the hell out. It's amazing how many cats at this level are better than some folks' favorite majors. Check out the video and follow the link to cop the album.
