Moses Rockwell x Kae B "You, Me & Everyone Else That We Know"
Rochester, New York's Moses Rockwell linked up with long-time friend and associate Kae Kiz for a five track EP that Moses calls, "a toast to the socially awkward." Moses handles the vocals and Kae Biz holds down the production and arrangements, while Sharp serves as executive producer, engineering and mixing You, Me & Everyone Else That We Know. Solid project. Enjoy. Chea!

CG definitely brings a fresh energy to his music and I dig it. Look out for the new project presented by our fam over at DonutsandMilk.com expected out next Monday. In the meantime, enjoy this track. What I'm Watching: The Roots: "Tip The Scale"
Another haunting set of visuals for the latest track from The Roots off of their upcoming project undun. As previously mentioned, The Roots will deliver up their concept album in December, which "is an existential re-telling of the short life of one Redford Stephens (1974-1999)." Tip The Scale finds Stephens, walking the streets of his tough neighborhood. When faced with such a rough reality, we'd want to tip the scale too. I'd say enjoy the video but it would be more fitting to say embrace it.

FreshNerd "Real Talk" feat. Joose & Signif
The first time I heard Joose rhyme was on producer FreshNerd of 100 Akres The Eddie Murphy Beat Tape. I thought the Tampa by way of Michigan emcee was pretty dope. It's great to see they've teamed up again on Real Talk with that same chemistry, bringing along a TMB favorite Signif to such a solid cut. FreshNerd, dope. Joose, dope. Signif, dope. Bruce "Sigala" Fielder's piano solo, dope. Hit play and enjoy. Chea!

Kalae All Day "Datura-Stramonium" feat YC the Cynic
Almost a year ago I heard and posted this cut from Harlem's Kalae All Day and YC The Cynic from the Bronx. It showed up in my inbox again today. The duo work with the MF Doom instrumental and make it their own in the fresh track Datura-Stramonium. Now being re-released ahead of the November 22nd drop of her new project Pass Time & Crass Lines. I thought the track was solid a year ago; I still think so. Hit play and enjoy. Chea!

Stanza "Broadcast from Georgia (Car Wrecks)"
"Now I'm gonna continue throwing these bricks of information through the thin glass of the news and loot some more interesting jewels to share with you."
The Working Class Dreamer Stanza drops off another Broadcast from Georgia, taking on some of the hot topics in the news. While sometimes Jimmy Fallon slow jams the news, the ATL emcee speeds it up a bit through rhyme. The new verse is about Kim Kardashian's divorce, Herman Cain's sexual harassment accusations, and the story of the senior citizen terrorist. Satire at it's finest. Chea!

Interview: Miss Special x Blue Scholars
Another fresh interview from our West Coast homegirl Miss Interview aka Miss Special. Enjoy. Chea!
A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to interview Blue Scholars before their show at Slim's in San Francisco. I first spoke with Geo/Prometheus Brown about working with Sacramento's DLRN, the process behind his project "Walk In To A Bar" with Bambu, calling the duo he and Bambu formed The Bar, the significance behind it, and his favorite song on that project. Then I talked to both Geo and Sabzi about the names they came up with for the group before they decided on Blue Scholars, the two of them switching roles; as far as Sabzi doing vocals and Geo making beats, and the process of Sabzi producing beats around vocals. We also spoke about Sabzi and Bambu's project/group "Inglewood Humperdink", what's next for Blue Scholars including releasing unreleased songs on cassette? and more.(via @MiSS1SPECiAL)
