TheSekondElement "What Would You Be Like?"
New Orleans's based female emcee TheSekondElement returns with new music inspired by a friend's tumblr post. After a bit of an intentional hiatus, she hadn't written new music in a while and struggled when she tried. But as she said, "sometimes the simplest things are the biggest catalysts", and after reading the tumblr post, this track poured out. When I first heard the Mindreader produced cut, I knew she was back and focused. I've been a fan of her work and I dig where she's going. Hit play and enjoy. Chea!

YC The Cynic "Hello, Newman!"
It seems like a few of my favorite artist took the summer to do shows and push previous projects and are returning with the change of season full force delivering up new music. YC The Cynic is one of those artist. With a string of show dates since South By Southwest and a few features, YC is back with new music ahead of his GNK project. YC is a lyricist and so "Hello, Newman" is a lyrical onslaught. And it's dope. Hit play and enjoy. Chea!

e.d.g.e. "32 for B-Dot"
"If I'm taking out the sheep, first I aim for the Shepard."
I told you this dude doesn't sleep. And if he does sleep, it's probably in a recording booth. One thing is for sure, you shouldn't sleep on the dude or his talent. The Vancouver emcee is back with anothercut over Guilty Simpson's "Man's World" instrumental. According to e.d.g.e. B-Dot over at notorietybeinganobody.com requested a verse over a J.Dilla production and this is the result. Penwork. Enjoy. Chea!

What I'm Watching: Random Axe "Chewbacca" feat. Roc Marciano
This video is hilarious. It might purely because of the Chewbacca cameo. Ha! Enjoy. Chea!
Chewbacca is a die-hard Random Axe fan. Watch as Chewy gets ready to see the group perform at Rock The Bells San Fran & is bold enough to join them for a performance on stage after knocking out a security guard.Follow the madness: twitter.com/themadbloggers_

What I'm Watching: Kenton Dunson "Firestarter" feat. Ryan Kellie
Off of the multi-talented Kenton Dunson's Creative Destruction 2, comes a solid track featuring Ryan Kellie. According to Kenton, the song is based on his own experiences.
"She was blazing a mean trail! Eventually she must have realized her faults because she later apologized saying she didn't mean any harm but honestly, when does that ever help?" Kenton said. "I'm actually good friends with her today so my goal is not to put that individual on blast but as you progress as a songwriter, you absolutely must allow yourself to express true emotion whether the subject is sensitive or not."
Directed by William Bastian II. Fresh video.
