What I'm Watching ... Musiq Soulchild - "Yes"

Takes a strong individual to keep fighting a long fight and in this video and song, Musiq shows us what kind of person he is

Musiq Soulchild recently announced his new role as an Ambassador for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Circle of Promise, a movement designed to further engage black women around the globe in the fight against breast cancer.

Take a few minutes to check out Musiq's new video "Yes", which features breast cancer survivors from the metro Atlanta area. The video was directed by Juwan Lee.

Joe Cool "I Wanna Sell Drugs"

This one has been kicking around the inbox for a few days now. A cool (no pun) self-produced track from Joe Cool off his upcoming project, Cooley Hi. Some rappers (allegedly) start off selling drugs. Others think about it in hindsight when the bills and responsibility starts to pile up. For Joe Cool, I guess sometimes he just wants to sell drugs. Solid cut. Enjoy. Chea!

Interview: Stalley x TheComeUpShow.com

When people ask how my interview was with a certain artist, my most common answer is that they are down to earth, humble, cool, etc. In my interview with Stalley just by watching you can tell how confident, focused, and yes humble he is.

We talked about his hometown of Massillion, Ohio, why he chose to align himself with Maybach Music Group, the joy he gets performing as an artist on the come up and much more.

Interview: Miss Special x Thurz

My homegirl Miss Special chopped it up with Thurz about his recent project, L.A. Riot. Fresh interview digging deeper into the concept and inspiration behind the project. And speaking of L.A. Riot, DJBooth is offering an exclusive free release of the project. Check out the interview and if you haven't, check out L.A. Riot.
I recently had the great opportunity of having Thurz call in to Special Sundays Radio Show. We spoke about the vision behind "L.A. Riot", how L.A. has changed since 1992 and the research that went in to the album. We also spoke about the producers he worked with, the features he chose, the similarities between "N****s" and Kanye West's "Jesus Walks" and what's next for him including music videos and movies.

Download ... Jass Bianchi - "Jassanova" (Free)

Got this joint a few days ago and played it 2 times straight the first time I heard it. Jass got skills. This album is extremely smooth sounding. Check for yourself.

The story behind this album is quite real. For the intent of purely showcasing what the reality of hip-hop is behind the scenes, I've decided to leave out names with the purpose of allowing the viewer to understand what the Raw and Uncut movement really means.

The Rising Sun Quest - Too Much To Say (B Steelz R.I.P.)

Here's a track from The Rising Sun Quest that touches on a personal and sad event that happened in his life recently. Sucks to have to write a song for reasons like this but Quest, I'm certain, makes Bobby proud. R.I.P. Steelz.

This song Is dedicated to my Dear friend Bobby Jordan aka Illface aka B Steelz 730 who we lost way too soon. I lost a big part of me. The person who inspired my first rhyme, who gave me the name The Rising Sun Quest, who I loved like a brother. Everything I ever wrote I owe to you because you made me fall in love with the MIC. I'm so sad right now. R.I.P. Bobby.
