TMB Presents: Mark V "Late August Sun Down"

The Mad Bloggers fucks with producers. Believe that. We fucks with some very talented folks from all over the world. We've featured a gang of beatmakers on these pages and recently started branching out to presenting joints. We linked up with Mark V out of Wisconsin on a dope project called Season Change. His beat turnaround was phenomenal. Coming off a bit of a hiatus and a Miltown Beat Down feature, Mark V is back to work crafting some fresh beats with some soulful samples. Season Change is dropping in the next day or so but we wanted to let you peep the artwork and one of the 10 cuts from the beat tape. Enjoy "Late August Sun Down", one of my favorite joints. Chea!

Interview: Miss Special x Ant Chedda

Miss Special x Myk Blauuw interview Ant Chedda, check it.
A few weeks ago on the (then) #WordToWoodrow radio show, we had singer Ant Chedda in studio where we got to talk with him about his newest project "Homie Lover Friend". We spoke with him about the project as far as the reason behind the r&b snippets he used from the 90's, working with Uptown Swuite, the vision behind his song "I Can't Say I Love You" and the concept story of the project including the connection to the movie Kill Bill. We also spoke about working with Moe Green, the vision behind his song "Last To Know" including the connection to the show Sex And The City and the movie Knocked Up, an upcoming music video for his song "The Night" with C- Plus and JoEL, and what's next for him.

EVENT: MetaMusick Album Release Party (Saturday, Aug. 13th.)

IT'S OFFICIAL, our CD "Thanks For Nothin" is finally complete and sounding better than anything we could have imagined. Crisp kicks, booming bass, extreme lyrical content... straight up quality! So I guess that leaves us with our final task... THE ALBUM RELEASE PARTY!!!

So in order to display the true art form of Hip Hop you first need the DJ. So we decided to do it right and bring in the "Meta-Qualified" DJ PJOHNS for the night! Secondly, you need crazy ass HOST to make sure everyone is alive and participating. So we got the one and only WHITE CHEDDAR!

We also have performances lined up from our Hip Hop family: BC CONNECT, CHUCK NICKELS, DUECE BUG, 5:AM, ZERD ONE and POLITICAL ANIMALS! With features off the album including Angelique, Nathan Polite II and more to be announced.

We chose The Corner Pocket because it has plenty of FREE parking, a kitchen in-case you're hungry, a full bar, a lot of pool tables and NO DRESS CODE.

This event is 21+ ID required. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the awesomeness follows shortly after.

The directions, Flier and all other details will be posted Sunday Night!

Sincerely, MetaMusick. The Industries Nightmare.
