Hip-Hop Breakfast Ep 65
No need to check the matrix, it's Friday morning and this is a new episode of Hip-Hop Breakfast. Ha!
When I first started Hip-Hop Breakfast last year, I use to rock twice per week. For a while I even did three times per week. I'm thinking about shifting back to the two day set up, rocking on Monday to start the week and Friday to end it. Let's see how this goes for a while, I hope you don't mind. So, here's ep 65 on a Friday, with some great music to go into the weekend with. Turn your speakers up (way up) and enjoy. Chea!

02. Pro'Verb feat. Lyriciss - Write Brother Done
03. Shaun Boothe feat. STS - 1, 2, 3

What I'm Watching: Classified "The Day Doesn't Die"
I peeped this video from Canada's own Classified a few days back and I'm just now getting around to posting it up on the site. Definitely a fresh video with a cool concept off of his Handshakes & Middle Fingers project. Sometimes life is hard but somehow we manage to get by. Enjoy. Chea!

Two dope West Coast emcees, Evidence and Fashawn serve up a fresh track and video with Same Folks off of Evidence's Cats & Dogs project due out September 27th. Shouts to hustling cds on Venice Beach. Ha! Sometimes you need to stop and take a listen. Enjoy. Chea!

What I'm Watching ... Common and Nas - "Ghetto Dreams"
Two of Hip-Hop's illest to do it gets together to do it again with "Ghetto Dreams". Some of the few bigger artists we here at TMB don't mind posting. Haha. Check it.

What I'm Watching: Rapsody "Lampin"
RAPSODY - LAMPIN' from Pricefilms on Vimeo.
I think North Carolina's Rapsody is talented. She's hit the internet in the last year or so with tons of free quality music (and often times better than many paid projects), with some great production and an amazing cast of features over various projects. The girl can spit. From her Thank H.E.R. Now project she releases the visuals for Lampin'. A solid track in a long line of solid tracks. Hit play and enjoy a cool video with Kenneth Price behind the lens. Chea!

Hassaan Mackey & Apollo Brown "The Trenches" (Apollo Brown Remix) feat. Sean Born
Mello Music Group gives you a lot. Constantly pushing out dope music. And pushing out that dope music is a pretty easy task considering the talent they run with. A few weeks back Hassaan Mackey and Apollo Brown released digitally and then via a physical copy their joint project, Daily Bread. And with that project they've offered up a few free joints to the people along the way. Again, they return with more free music, this time featuring Sean Born on "The Trenches" remix. Another solid joint from a dope emcee and producer pair. Enjoy. And if you dig it, cop that album. Chea!

Pro'Verb ft. Lyriciss "Write Brothers"
The first time I heard this joint I was like, damn this jawn is filthy. Mark Henry on the production and Pro'Verb and Lyriciss on the verses. Winning (No Charlie Sheen)! Featured on Pro'Verb's upcoming mixtape, While You're Waiting due out September 2nd. So, while you're waiting for that to drop blast this joint at a maximum volume. You're welcome. Enjoy. Chea!

G-Eazy "The Endless Summer"
A solid offering from G-Eazy on his newest The Endless Summer released a few days ago over at DJBooth with Pigeons & Planes and Mostly Junk Food. I've been rocking with G-Eazy since the homie Chad over at Dunuts and Milk put me on to the dude. His latest joint has that old school and chill feel. I definitely dig that. With a few features and all beats courtesy of G-Eazy, (except “Hang Ten” prod. DJ Jive), “Acting Up” co-prod. Tyler Ginsberg and “Outta Pocket (Remix)” prod. DJ Carnage), The Endless Summer is worth the download. Enjoy. Chea!
