Ritchcraft "What's It All About"
Remember when Ritchcraft zoned out and dropped 30 beats in 30 days straight? Used as a promo leading up to his first trip to SXSW, it was an aggressive and impressive project. Now he returns with What's It All About, an EP compiled of some of the tracks from his recent 30 in 30 project with guest features from Boyill, Foff, Geeter, K. Sparks, Intalek and e.d.g.e. and cuts from Petey Punch. Fresh project. Enjoy. Chea!

Shane Eli "Better Beats: The ICDB Instrumentals"
Shane Eli's I Can Do Better is a dope project, containing some amazing music from Eli from both a production and lyrical standpoint. Today, with the help of the good folks over at DJBooth.net, Shane Eli returns with the beats from the self-produced album. Dope.
"As an added bonus, the next two listeners to name ten samples from I Can Do Better will win a brand new watch from Flud. For more details click here."
Good luck. And enjoy the music. Chea!

Jinesis "Long As I Ask"
Check out the first track off of Jinesis I'll Be "Beyond", due out soon. After an impressive TMB sponsored project with Otisisw, Jinesis returns with more production heat. I keep telling you the brother is talented. "Long As I Ask" is another example of that talent. Enjoy. Chea!

Theo Martins "Mario Kart"
One of my favorite emcees Theo Martins is back with a fresh cut, Mario Kart. Another winner from the Rhode Island emcee. Enjoy.
So dusk off the ol’ N64 (second greatest game console after SNES), blow into that cartridge, plug in those colorful controllers and prepare to kick back and relax and jam.
Oh, I got dibs on Mario!

Eternia: The Importance of the Live Show
BHF '11 - Eternia from BrooklynBodegaTV on Vimeo.
One of my favorite emcees Eternia sat down with Brooklyn Bodedga (the good folks behind the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival) to discuss the importance of her live show. She drops some gems, so take note. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing her rock in Brooklyn on July 16th with Random Axe, Shad, Homeboy Sandman and more.

What I'm Watching: Raze & Logic (of The Hollowz) "Thinking Out Loud"
Sometimes a simple video speaks in volumes. This Ku Mays directed video does just that. With it's simplicity, it doesn't take away from the Raze & Logic track, yet enhances it visually. When I first heard the track a while back, it quickly became a favorite. The depth of the lyrics, the Raze production with Mike Carpenter on guitar and co-production, the track provides so much. Sometimes you're just Thinking Out Loud. Hit play and enjoy. Chea!

A Fare Slice (I.C. NYC Episode 3)
Another great episode from the Internets Celebrities.
In 1980, New Yorker Eric Bram noticed that for twenty years the price of a subway token had tended to match the price of a slice of pizza. Thirty years later, his hypothesis still holds true. The question we wanted answered is WHY. Are the MTA and the various supposedly independent pizza shops involved in collusion - or who's taking their pricing cues from who? And what about the dollar pizza spots that have been popping up all over Manhattan recently -- could these be predicting a lower cost transit authority appearing in our future?Follow the madness: twitter.com/themadbloggers_

Jesse Boykins III "Back Home (Mermaids & Dragons)"
I've put a lot of Hip-Hop on the blog today. So, let me slow it down a bit with the smooth sounds of the multi-talented Jesse Boykins III. Boykins provides the Gold Panda produced joint from his upcoming Way Of A Wayfarer EP, due out June 30. Solid track. Enjoy.

INSIDE THE MUSIC: Rapsody "Thank H.E.R. Now"
Last week North Carolina's own and Jamla's first lady Rapsody released a pretty impressive project. Through DJBooth.net she dropped Thank H.E.R. Now for the generous price of free.99. You almost feel guilty getting it for free. So, maybe you should be thanking her now and later.
But as Rapsody explains, it's about more than just the money. It's ultimately about the music. Wow, what a nobel idea. I've been a fan of her music since her days with Kooley High. She's a pretty dope emcee and her latest is just another example of the quality she's putting out there.
After the release of the new project I reached out to her for a Q&A. We talked about being a female emcee, the music and more. Check it out after the jump.
