Kanye West “Mama’s Boyfriend”
"I don't like you nigga. If I was old enough I'd fight you nigga. I wanna run over you with my bike you nigga. Don't go to sleep at night you nigga..."
Ha! This track made me laugh the first time I heard Ye spit a few bars during his Facebook visit last year. Now the full track? Perhaps. I've been waiting for this track my entire life. Enjoy. Chea!

T. Hobbs "Dedication"
Back when O and I first started this blog, I depended a lot on music submissions for posts. I had always found things by poking around the net but submissions gave way to a lot of new music and filled a lot of space on the site in the early days. Now, two years later and most of the music comes through word of mouth. Whether it's the word of an artist whose music I respect or a fellow blogger whose taste in music I admire.
This T. Hobbs track hits TMB through our blogging-brother JCrillz over at HipHopIsCoolAgain. Crillz and I share a very similar taste in music and earlier today via twitter he sent me this track. Had he been a rapper who I didn't know I would have reported his ass as spam! Ha! But we often share good music among each other and other bloggers. So, I hit play and was immediately captivated by the LA by way of Queens, NY emcee, who just happens to be a female. I dig the Focus produced track. Enjoy. Chea!

What I'm Watching: Money Making Jam Boys "Tear It Down"
Money Making Jam Boys (Dice Raw, Black Thought, P.O.R.N., S.T.S. & Truck North) delivered one of my favorite projects this year with The Prestige: Jam Boy Magic. They return with the visuals for "Tear It Down," one of my favorite cuts. I dig the Treezy & Samuel Rogers directed joint. Enjoy.

What I'm Watching: R. Kelly “Radio Message”
So, wait, we call the radio to request a song that's our song? That's how we do it? I see you Kellz. This reminds me of that scene from Brown Sugar when Dre' calls Sidney and asks her when she fell in love with Hip-Hop. Damn, that is the second time I referenced Brown Sugar today. Ha! Anyway, enjoy the latest from R. Kelly.

Dice Raw "Baby Come Home"
Dice Raw is dope and last week he put out a pretty strong project with his first installment of The Greatest Rapper Never trilogy ‘Preservation.’ Along with the new album, he dropped this promo video, which you may have seen on my tumblr page, as well as the full track. Enjoy. Chea!
“This is a big opportunity for me to show fans what I’ve been working on the last several years. The Greatest Rapper Never is my story but I also think it’s the story of a lot of artists who never got their proper shine signed and unsigned in the business. I’m really hype about this music and I think you’re going to like it because I kept it one hundred,” says Dice Raw.

Algorhythms "Ram Nam Satya Hai" x Humpasaur Jones "Funeral Groupies"
Damn, sometimes I'm a slacker when it comes to checking emails and then posting great music when I find it within those emails. Well, I've long been a fan of the content that comes from the good folks over a World Around Records. Recently, they shared two great tracks with me and it's only right that I share them with you.
First, a cool track from Algorhythms. A laid back and very chill joint with a remix provided by s. maharba remix. According to World Around, the remix is so smooth they may never release the original. Ha!
The other joint is one I had heard a while back when Justin over at World Around shared it with me. I thought the cut was dope then and now they are finally getting around to releasing it to the public. I dig it and hope you do too.

Hip-Hop Breakfast Ep 58
It's like I'm always working, working, day and night. Ha! Last week between my full time gig, and other side projects, I probably clocked in something like 90 hours. This included a quick trip to rural CT for a design project. So, as I started to put this mix together while traveling back via bus from CT/Downstate NY to Upstate, the only thing on my mind was work. So, every track has "work" in it. I guess you can call these some of my favorite "work" related cuts, including Blu x Exile's Blu Colla Worker, Gang Star's Work and of course MJ's Working Day and Night and Kanye's Workout Plan. I'm just having fun with it this week, so just ride with a brother and enjoy. I hope EP 58 helps to kick start your work week. Chea!
01. Blu x Exile - Blu Colla Workers
02. Michael Jackson - Working Day and Night
03. Black Thought - Work
04. Psalm One - Woman at Work (The Song)
05. Gang Starr - Work
06. Talib Kweli - Work It Out
07. Kanye West - The New Workout Plan
