All I have to say is, these mainstream artist better watch out for Daniel de Bourg. I've started listening to The DDB Mixtape Volume 1 - The Prelude which is a compilation of the covers Daniel has done of other songs and it's definitely worth a listen.
Thanks to Q for putting this on my radar.
Check out Daniel de Bourg's Bandcamp page here and his YouTube page here.
The Floacist, aka Natalie Stewart, released her latest video off her album "Floetic Soul" today. This track features one of my other favorite newer R&B artists in Raheem DeVaughn. The album overall is a great work of art as I have always been a fan of Floetry as a group and individually. The Floacist come through poetically on this with visuals that are simple, yet creative. If you haven't purchased her album, I suggest you do that after checking out this video!
I fucks with Yelawolf. Musically the dude is dope and personally, he seems down to earth. I've never not nodded my head when a Yelawolf track was on. I've also peeped a gang of interviews with him and he's always humble and cool about his musical rise. Now a member of the Shady crew, including Em and Slaughterhouse, he's among some lyrical powerhouses. But Yelawolf holds his own. Anyway, the first time I heard "Daddy's Lambo" I thought the track was dope. Now we have a video to match the cut. Fresh. Funny that (spoiler alert) home chick had to pee and that dude peeled out like a scene from Bang Bus, allegedly of course. Ha! Enjoy the video. Chea!
I'm a fan of the Milwaukee Hip-Hop scene. There's no secret there. So, on this Thursday I decided to post up three cool videos coming from some talented folks out of Wisconsin. Great production, quality videos and solid tracks. Enjoy. Chea!

Oh yes! Savant is back with something fresh. Crash Course has been one of my favorite journeys musically by a Hip-Hop artist I know in the last 6 months. This entry isn't any different. After you check it, don't forget to go back and listen to the rest.
Check point 7 of 2011... #CrashCourse 10... Savant links with Tucson, AZ's Fresh professor Dibbz Dreek (of Fresh Life Curriculum) and one of North Carolina's best keep secrets behind the boards in Satchill Head to bring you the latest addition to his Crash Course Leak Series "Fresh She Is". Based on a true story, the narrative jawn carries a cinematic theme and also hearkens to the Michael Jackson/ Paul McCartney collaboration "The Girl Is Mine".
Has-Lo is back with the visuals to his dope track titled "Limit". This dude put out enough singles I've received in my inbox to make me a fan. No doubt. Check out the video and be sure to get his album.
Got this in the email a little while back and finally got some time to hit the play button. These guys from Boston are putting in work and they want to show their appreciation for those supporting with this free album. It's not your usual Hip-Hop. Definitely rides in different lanes musically on this album. Check out a couple of tracks I uploaded at the bottom of this post and definitely download this and give us your thoughts.
