@TheRealEternia "One Love"
Eternia is back. With the first track since she released At Last with producer MoSS, Eternia adds to "One Love" off of Elzhi's Elmatic. One thing Eternia (who just celebrated her birthday last week) has never been shy about through her music is baring all. And on this track, she definitely bares more of her personal story. "I related so much to the person that Elzhi describes in 'One Love'," Eternia said. "A lot of her experiences - not all, but many - mirrored my own life." Enjoy. One love.
sidebar: I'm definitely looking forward to seeing Eternia this year at The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival (along with Homeboy Sandman, Shad and headliner Q-Tip, among others).

Top $ Raz "The Holy Ghost" feat. Scienze
"I was always told!
Nothing worth selling your soul
What good’s a trophy motherfucker that you cant take home
Huh?! "
With a few successful singles before he dropped The New Flesh and the dope video for "The Man" after the release of his new project, Top $ Raz returns with another cut featuring ScienZe. The Spills produced track definitely falls in my top 7 tracks on The New Flesh. Enjoy. Chea!

Jesse Abraham feat. Homeboy Sandman "Always & Forever"
I dig this Jesse Abraham track featuring NYC underground giant Homeboy Sandman. The K.O. Beatz produced track will be featured on Jesse's revamped One Day project, due out June 14th via DJBooth.net. Enjoy this cut in the meantime. Chea!

What I'm Watching: Pusha T "Blow"
"Waking up to models what a muthafuckin' life."
I've long been a fan of The Clipse, which means I've been a fan of both Malice and Pusha T. Something about their music has always resonated with me, sans all the drug references. Wait, without the drug references what the hell is left? Ha!
I mentioned the other day that I've appreciated the hustle behind Pusha T's solo effort with the free Fear of God project. The videos he's released have been in my opinion effective to continue to build the buzz for the Malice-less sound of a solo Pusha T. "Blow" is just another fine example of the lyricism of Pusha. He's a beast.
Enjoy the video. Chea!

The Audible Doctor - The Spread EP (vocal version)
Last week we were experiencing some issues on the site. We still haven't gotten all of our content back from last Thursday. Sucks. So, we took the weekend off waiting for the dust to settle. Hopefully it's all good now. During that in-between time The Audible Doctor dropped his project The Spread EP (vocal version). I posted it over on my tumblr page (allegedlyofcourse.tumblr.com). Here it is just in case you missed. Enjoy because it's a great project. Chea!
Like I mentioned, blogger is being a bitch right now (allegedly, of course). So, I’m posting up a few joints on my tumblr page in an effort to get the music out. Yesterday The Audible Doctor dropped The Spread EP (Vocal Version) featuring some pretty dope emcees. A while back he put out the free beat tape and invited folks to rhyme over the instrumentals and submit them for consideration to be featured on the vocal version of The Spread. These are the winners. Definitely a dope project. I’ve listened to it front to back a few times. I already liked the instrumental version but this vocal version of The Spread is also dope. Peep my favorite track below and if you’re so inclined, download it! Chea!Download: The Spread EP (Vocal Version)

What I'm Watching: Skyzoo "The Definitive Prayer"
I wrote about this track on Tuesday over at DJBooth.net. Once I hit play, I was captivated by both the beat and rhymes. No hook. No chorus. Just straight bars. "The Definitive Prayer" is full of incredible word play that will captivate listeners. In fact, you'll wanna listen to this joint a few times. Like I wrote over at the Booth, "The Definitive Prayer is like a hip-hop version of the movie Sixth Sense; at the end you’ll go back to the beginning to peep what you missed." Enjoy. Chea!

Andy Suzuki & The Method "All of the Lights" (Kanye West cover)
Andy (lead vocals and piano) and Kozza (percussion) are good friends, who make good music. Both are funny as hell too. I once bumped into the duo by chance at Union Station in Washington DC and it was straight comedy for over an hour as we talked about a gang of random subjects. Recently at another sold out show at Joe's Pub in NYC, they took their own creative spin (with the help of the rest of Andy's band, The Method) on the popular Kanye West track, "All of the Lights." I dig their version. Enjoy. Chea!

The Livingroom Sessions
INTRODUCING THE LIVINGROOM SESSIONS from Creative Control on Vimeo.
I definitely dig the concept of the revitalized webseries, The Livingroom Sessions. The Livingroom Sessions premieres Wednesday, June 15th on www.creativecontrol.tv. In the meantime, peep the trailer.
Writer, performer and designer Caits Meissner puts on her producer hat to bring you unmasked, experiential glimpses into the lives of underground artists, and the settings in which they create. The Livingroom Sessions episodes seek to capture genuine, unscripted moments that celebrate the humanity and spirit of artist's, and reveal ways in which private space influences creative process.Follow the madness: twitter.com/themadbloggers_
