The Underdogz "Wuttup Doe?"

Listen. To. This. Shit. Immediately.

The Underdogz (Warren Britt and OTiS CLaPP) deliver on their new project, with production mostly from Miles with Mr Vega, Willie Green, Spills, K.O. Beatz, Crown and Apatight lending production to the project. With features from PremRock, Top $ Raz, Ciph Diggy among others and a hilarious interlude from YC The Cynic, The Underdogz deliver a well executed project. I've played Wuttup Doe? straight through three times and have enjoyed it more each time. My favorite cuts on the project include "Ms Thang", "Guess Who", "Speakerwork", "Been A Long Time" and "Demons". Between the production, rhymes and over-all quality of this project, Wuttup Doe? is a winner. Get it or be left out. Enjoy. Chea!

What I'm Watching: SPEAK Easy "More Fire"

SPEAK Easy is dope. But if you've spent anytime on the blog, you already know how I feel about the homie. SPEAK is one of my favorite heads out of the Milwaukee scene and his latest project, So To Speak, is definitely a winner. "More Fire" is one of many dope cuts from the project. Enjoy the KuMays directed video. Chea!

What I'm Watching: Soul Khan "Soul Like Khan"

Damn, the Brown Bag AllStars are clearly putting in work. With a track on both the TMB Show and Hip-Hop Breakfast this week, a dope track released yesterday and Soul Khan's "Soul Like Khan" video release today and a new EP tomorrow, gotdamn.

A lot of dope cameos in the Brian Robinson directed video. And this is one of my favorite Khan tracks too. Shiiiit. Oh and whoa at the 2:29 mark too! As J57 puts it, "we're set to release his new EP tomorrow, so we figured we'd say good bye to the old album in style." Indeed they do it with great style. Enjoy the vid. Chea!

TMB's Throwback Video of the Day ... Tag Team - "Whoomp! (There It Is)"

If you don't remember this then, I mean... I just can't do anything for you. Ha. Tag Team's 1993 hit spent seven weeks at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and a week at number one on the US R&B Chart. Enjoy!

iQ Multimedia Presents ... @ULuvTashaRamos - "Feelin' Myself"

If you've even remotely paid a little bit of attention to the posts I've made over the last year, you'll know that I've taken on the philosophy of my fellow blogger-colleague, Q in that "If it doesn't get me excited, it doesn't get posted." I'm always appreciative when I get stuff in my inbox that is exceptional. And I can thank my other blogger-colleague, OC, for this one.

Her name is Natasha Ramos. She's out of Hartford, Connecticut and this girl is going places. If I were her manager, I would be more than proud of representing her. She's got the full package. The looks, the spark, and most importantly, the talent. According to her Myspace Music page, the genres she dabbles in are R&B, Soul and Pop. When listening to her tracks, she is able to blend all three perfectly, which in many cases, is very hard to accomplish. I took the liberty of uploading my favorite five songs of hers ("Feelin' Myself," "Who Needs You," "Midnight Hour," "Deeper," and "Running Out of Love.") to my Bandcamp. One thing I can say about Feelin' Myself is that you'll definitely have to download the entire thing because there's a certain flow and intermingling of the songs that can only be experienced by listening to it from beginning to end.

It would take forever for me to go through the songs I like and give you the blow by blow of why I like them, so my advice is to just download and press play. If I had one criticism, albeit a good criticism, it would be that the songs aren't long enough! It leaves me wanting more. If this is any preview of what her debut album will be like, I look forward to hearing and purchasing it when it comes to fruition.

If you don't know Natasha Ramos, I suggest you get familiar. I don't want 6 months to come and go and she blows up and y'all are like "OMG! Who is this girl and where did she come from? I love her." Ha! This time you don't have an excuse.

Download her full mix tape here and just press play. Enjoy.

Check It (4/26/11): Fresh Daily, TheSeKondElement and The Brown Bag AllStars

I love music. There really is no secret there. Every day tons of projects drop and some aren't really worth the digital space they take up. In my opinion obviously. The folks featured in today's posts don't fall in that category. Quality music from quality musicians. Today, Fresh Daily, TheSeKondElement and The Brown Bag AllStars bring with them three great singles for three amazing projects. If you're not checking for 'em, I feel sorry for your musical collection. Ha! Enjoy the music and support the artists.

Fresh Daily returns with "Say Yes" off of The Quiet Life dropping May 3rd. Produced by Shuko and Fonty, this Fresh Daily track is straight head nod inducing. The homie Fresh Daily always brings the quality through his music. I'm definitely looking forward to The Quiet Life. You should be too. Also, look out for an interview with him coming soon to The Mad Bloggers Show. In the words of Fresh Daily "let this be your spring/summer anthem! It feels GOOOOOOOOD!" Chea!

TheSeKondElement has found herself on the blog a few times. There something about her sound, rooted in spoken word, that I've always appreciated it. "Heaven Sent" is the first single off The Korner of Ahmir & Hillman, due out released April 28. Inspired by their trip to SXSW, TheSekondElement teams up with drummer Bettis for a pretty fresh project. She describes the project simply as, "just me and Bettis jammin’, vibin’, doing what we do best together but usually on stage. Now fans can it home.” Enjoy "Heaven Sent" and keep your eyes and ears open for The Korner of Ahmir & Hillman.

Ever since exchanging a series of emails with J57 back when we booked Soul Khan for the IHD x TMB Independent's Day Showcase, he's been blessing my inbox with great cuts from Brown Bag AllStars members and affiliates. Earlier today J57 hit me up with the new Brown Bag AllStars cut "Crumbling Down" produced by Mr. Green. This shit right here? THIS SHIT RIGHT HERE? Yeah, it's dope. According to J57, "we're hard at work in the studio wrapping up our debut album (due out next year), so in the meantime we decided that we'll drop a double-disc project of rare & unreleased material on May 17." So, enjoy "Crumbling Down" leading up to their May 17th drop. Chea!

What I'm Watching: Theo Martins "Up & Away"

Every time I post something from Theo Martins, I say he's dope. So, at this point, I guess it goes without saying how I feel about Theo's music. Ha! After a few pics providing a sneak peek at this video, Theo released the visuals for "Up & Away" yesterday. Enjoy the latest off of Theo Martins Sincerely Yours, The Dance Floor. Chea!

What I'm Watching: Adebisi "F-ck The Dollar"

The homie Adebisi is like family. I've been handling a bit of his digital game and TMB just co-sponsored his latest mixtape The Blaxploitation, which you should DEFINITELY have in your life right now. Ha!

Anyway, Adebisi linked up with SigNif (yes, the NYC by way of Milwaukee emcee) and shot a video last week with Sig getting her John Singleton on by directing, shooting and editing the visuals for "Fuck the Dollar." Put together in just 24 hours, the video is for one of my favorite tracks on The Blaxploitation. The homie is definitely very talented. Look out for more music coming soon. In the meantime, enjoy. Chea!

Adebisi has also been shooting a series of video blogs. You can check those out at www.youtube.com/theblaxlifetv

Check It: Ritchcraft x Intalek x Geeter

That boy Ritchcraft is talented. After featuring his 30 in 30 beat series, Ritchcraft is back with music from two dope emcees that he's currently working on projects with.

You might recall the Intalek and Ritchcraft project Lives and Vibes. Well, the duo are currently cooking up an EP as a follow up. I'm definitely looking forward to that.

On the other side is the newcomer Geeter, whose "Do It Now" was featured on last week's ep of The Mad Bloggers Show. The dude is dope and he and Ritchcraft are working on a project consisting of 5-6 tracks dropping at some point in May.

Both dope cuts with Ritchcraft on the production. Enjoy and look out for those projects dropping soon. Chea!

What I'm Watching ... Has-Lo "Untitled #1 (Hold On)"

Deep, personal lyrics on "Untitled #1" from Has-Lo on this video to compliment it. Music can be therapy and few are talented enough to come through on a track this good while expressing emotions this close to home. Check out the video then definitely get the album. Quality music.

Untitled #1 (Hold On), was directed by Antonio Battle who also came up with the visual concepts. The song is one of the most autobiographical on the entire album. With the passing of Has-Lo's Grandmother the video's cemetery scene was meant to match the track's lyrival content and emotive weight.
