Shane Eli feat. Playboy Tre & Rittz "Let's Ride"

Word is the homie Shane Eli's new album hosted by DJ Skee and presented by Flud Watches I Can Do Better has been pushed back a little bit. But don't you fret, he's dropped a new cut from the project dropping via DJBooth.net sooner than later. "Let's Ride" is another quality track in a long line of quality tracks off the upcoming project. I'm definitely looking forward to it. In the meantime, allow "Let's Ride" to hold you over until the project drops. Enjoy. Chea!

e.d.g.e. "Target Practice Pt. 2" x "Edgelib"

e.d.g.e. f/ Dave Ryan & Jaykin "Target Practice Pt. 2" (mcenroe for downthedial.com) from e.d.g.e. on Vimeo.

You lucky bastard, getting two fresh e.d.g.e. videos in the same day. Ok, part of the reason you're getting two today is because I forgot to post up "Target Practice Pt. 2" a few days back. Ha!

e.d.g.e. delivered up fresh visuals for "Target Practice Pt. 2" featuring Dave Ryan and Jaykin last week. Today he dropped "Edgelib" from TMB sponsored Fifteen Minutes of Fame. The cool thing about the "Edgelib" video was that it was shot on the iPhone with the iMovie and 8mm apps. Fresh.

Enjoy both. All Flow Everything coming soon.

Rich Kidd - "Take It Slow"

My apologies for missing last week but I'm back with another 5 videos for you to take in. Canada in the house with 3 of the 5 picks this week, including Rich Kidd with his "Take it Slow" video. Mara Hruby is one I have never heard of prior to her "Stereolab (Lose Myself)" video and I am mad I am just finding out about her. Hailing from Winnipeg come The Lytics with their video for the "On Point" remix which was shot in the CBC studio. "The People" is a nice joint to get into brought to us via STS. And last but not least we have Crown A Thornz who I discovered at a Film Festival this Friday. Their son "Real" is definitely a dope track. Anyway I hope you get the chance to tke in all of the visuals. Hit me at readbeanpie@gmail.com to have your video considered. Enjoy!

Theo Martins "The Spotlight"

With my new blogging schedule, I rarely post on the weekends. But I couldn't let the weekend go by without posting this track from Providence, Rhode Island rapper Theo Martins. Theo has found himself on the blog a few times and two weeks ago he took the Friday's Five Random Questions challenge. I've said it time and time again, I think Theo is dope and his sound is unique. "The Spotlight" is what he calls "black-super hero music" and I tend to agree. In my mind, I already see the visuals for this track. If only I was a director. Ha! Well, happy Saturday morning to you and enjoy some music courtesy of Mr. Theo Martins. Chea!
"Driving through Beverly Hills around midnight in a red coup, no streets lamps, everything dark but the front dash on the car doing just about 85 on the highway. That’s what I see when I close my eyes and play this.

‘The Spotlight’ was inspired by Grammy Weekends, 2nd-hand cigar smoke, dark nights and lazy mornings.

This is such black-super hero music."

Check It (4/8/11): Bandana x Signif and More

Bandana x Signif, Signif x Haz Solo x Phil G, Bandana x A-Tone x Lynk. Three tracks, and they feature either Signif or Bandana. Signif, she's no stranger to TMB readers but this is Bandana Showgunn first run on the blog. That's kind of odd considering our run through Milwaukee for the Journey to Hip-Hop Series. Not sure how we missed him but the dude has some dope music. Anyway, check out three fresh cuts.

The First is Bandana x Signif. As Signif writes, "I dropped this verse for Dana over a year ago!! He finally let it go after a couple other artist never laced it. Dana always scorches “ish”, he’s one of my favorite emcees from MKE."

Get Em' (Feat. Signif) (Prod. by Sin) by signifthegift

Then there is the new Signif x Haz Solo x Phil G joint from Signif x G-Wiz's project, SIGNIFICANT WI(Z)DOM dropping later this month.

I caught this Bandana x A-Tone x Lynk joint via the homie Dave Derrilykt. This joint is dope off of Bandana's upcoming The Brewprint.

Friday's Five Random Questions with @DopeScienze

ScienZe is a cool dude.  I first caught him and his music around the time that he released The Phone Tap(e). I immediately thought he had a dope sound and produced quality music. His latest project Hall Pass is among my favorite joints released in the last year. The energy he delivers in his music is fresh.

Anyway, this week he decided to take the challenge. Check out how ScienZe answered five random questions after the jump.

What I'm Watching (4/8/11): Mazzi & S.O.U.L. Purpose, STS, SonReal and Dana Coppafeel & Reason

I usually posts these on Tuesdays and Thursdays but sometimes life happens and so here we are on a Friday morning and I'm sharing a few fresh videos with you that I've bumped into on the Internets or caught via email. You don't mind, do you? Nope. Ha!

This Friday morning I have four fresh videos from Mazzi & S.O.U.L. Purpose, STS, SonReal and Dana Coppafeel & Reason. Not only are they fresh videos but all four are dope tracks too. Sit back and take in what television is missing after the jump. Chea!
