It seems like it's the ones high off something other than life that are the most talented. She has always been one of my most favorite artists ever. She's funky and unique in style, her voice is pure and sexy and she's just all around talented in more ways than I can describe. One Youtuber described it best:

R.I.P. Big L (1974-1999)

A legend in the making, Lamont Coleman, famously known as Big L, tragically left us on this day 12 years ago. But not before leaving his mark and blazing a trail in the Hip-Hop world. I discovered Big L a couple of years before his untimely demise but it's safe to say that I've heard enough to have made me a fan and wish he was still around. A lot can be said of Big L and how he was making big waves in the genre I love, but on this day, it's better hear it so I'm posting one of my favorite mixtapes of him. For those that remember him, reminisce. And for those that never knew him, introduce yourself to his music here. Big L. 139 & Lenox. Harlem World. Flamboyant For Life. Forever Rest In Peace.
