Check It ... @RAtheMC "Moment for Life" (Victory Lap Bonus)

I definitely dig RAtheMC's take on the Nicki Minaj "Moment for Life" joint. RAtheMC, out of the DMV, is dope. If she isn't on your radar, she should be. This is the bonus cut off her latest project, Victory Lap. Enjoy.

What I'm Watching ... Fran-P Dillalude Part 1 & 2

I caught Fran-P's new project Greyscale yesterday. I haven't had the chance to fully check out the 18 track project, which includes some original beats in addition to a few Dilla jawns. Anyway, I caught these two "Dillalude" videos from Fran-P and thought they were cool. So, while I'm checking out the project I decided to post these joints up. I dig it.

R.I.P. Big L (1974-1999)

A legend in the making, Lamont Coleman, famously known as Big L, tragically left us on this day 12 years ago. But not before leaving his mark and blazing a trail in the Hip-Hop world. I discovered Big L a couple of years before his untimely demise but it's safe to say that I've heard enough to have made me a fan and wish he was still around. A lot can be said of Big L and how he was making big waves in the genre I love, but on this day, it's better hear it so I'm posting one of my favorite mixtapes of him. For those that remember him, reminisce. And for those that never knew him, introduce yourself to his music here. Big L. 139 & Lenox. Harlem World. Flamboyant For Life. Forever Rest In Peace.

Check It ... Que (Formerly of Day 26) "Like The Last Night"

Pic by Anwaa Kong
I wonder how long we'll have to say "Que formerly of Day26" when talking about the former reality star and Bad Boy artists? Probably for a while since that's how most folks know him.

But Que is definitely out to make a name for himself. In a recent interview with a local newspaper upstate, Que talked about his road to life after Bad Boy and showcasing his soulful music.

With a show in DC last week and his Guitar Her mixtape still making its rounds, he's making an attempt to truly stand on his own. Yesterday he released the smooth track "Like The Last Night" from the recent project. It's cool. I actually dig it.

Check It ... Epsilon Project "Got Me Trippin" (Prod. By Supa Koopa)

I think Epsilon Project is dope. I haven't heard a track from them that I haven't liked. And that didn't change when I heard the Supa Koopa produced "Got Me Trippin." This joint is off Supa's upcoming Raw Chops project. Epsilon Project will also be releasing their Kev Brown produced "My Sunshine" track soon. In the meantime, enjoying "Got Me Trippin." FRESH! Chea!
