Download ... Torae - "Heart Failure Mixtape" (Mixed by DJ Blazita)

Torae always putting out quality Hip-Hop. This time isn't much different. From the cover depicting a fantasy of most, I'd assume, to the cuts on the free mix, this joint is sure to deliver musically. Check it.

Well folks the day is upon us. Flowers, cards, candy & a whole bunch of other unnecessary BS. Don’t you people know all you need is love & music. Allow me if you will to provide a nice soundtrack for all of this evening's festivities. Play this on your way to the restaurant, hotel or while you’re in the back set of your jeep swinging an ep’. Download ... @Stalley "Lincoln Way Nights (Intelligent Trunk Music)"

Stalley dropped his latest project Lincoln Way Nights (Intelligent Trunk Music) a few days ago but I was a little caught up with other projects and I hadn't had the opportunity to give it a solid listen. Weirdly enough, I actually listen to music before I post it on the site. I like Stalley and the music he offers but I always listen before posting.

Anyway, this project has dope beats and great rhymes and it's fresh straight through. Stalley fills Lincoln Way Nights with tracks about home, cars, family and the struggle of being a rapper living his dream. I rocked with this on the early shift this morning at work. I actually played it twice. You know a project is dope when you can run it back immediately. Among my favorite cuts,  330, Hercules, Assassin, She Hates the Bass and Hard. Download and enjoy Lincoln Way Nights, it's worth a play (or two). Chea!

Ritchcraft's 30 in 30 (Day 1: Beats Make ME)

The concept is simple. 30 beats in 30 days leading up to Ritchcraft's journey down to SXSW to network and really present himself as a producer and beatmaker to anyone willing to give an ear to his music. So, today is day one of the 30 in 30 series. By no means are The Mad Bloggers an official sponsor of this ambitious undertaking, we're just supporters of Ritchcraft's work so we'll be posting each and every beat. The dude is definitely talented and hit the ground running with his first offering, Beats Make ME. Like Ritcraft said, "R.I.P. #weeklysubmissions. Dawn of the daily dose!" Stay tuned for more 30 in 30 and in the meantime, enjoy day 1. Chea!

It's apparent that Marsha Ambrosius is trying to get someone pregnant this Valentine's Day with Sextape part 4. Enjoy, at your own risk of course. Ha!

Check It ... Pusha T "My God"

"My credit score let the dealer take full advantage ..." -Pusha T

This Pusha T track is dope. I'll need to listen to this a few more times to get more of the punchline references, some of which I may probably never catch in a lifetime. Ha! It's similar to every time I play a Clipse track, I catch something new. Anyway, this is a tagged version of the new track from Pusha, "My God." Enjoy. Chea!

Shouts to Andrew over at Prefix for the link.

Is Tyler, The Creator the Future?

"I'm an overachiever, so how about I start a team of leaders and pick up Stevie Wonder to be the wide receiver..."

Alright. So let's have this conversation. I posted this video over on my tumblr yesterday and I have had a few side convos on twitter about the youngin' Tyler, the Creator of the Odd Future crew. What's your thoughts?

I had all but ignored his music until the video for "Yonkers" dropped. To clarify, I had ignored the music mostly because I wasn't interested and not because I had heard it and didn't like it. I mean, I heard bits and pieces, mostly because of the fuss about Earl Sweatshirt and his music.

Anyway, "Yonkers" is the first track off of Tyler the Creator's upcoming album Goblin. In watching this video I'm not sure whether I should be impressed or disturbed or perhaps the point is to be both. It seems like, based on my experience with Earl, these guys are all about shock and awe with their music and videos to match. Not to say that's a bad thing. This video, while simple is dope. The angles of which it is shot, the black and white and what's in focus and out of focus and how that changes constantly is brilliant.

And then there is the rhyme. The punchlines. The content. The flow.

But I still don't know what to make of all of this.

I've watched this video more than a dozen times and I circle back to the same place, which leads to the following statement, "I like it but why."

Hit up the comment section and let's discuss. Is Tyler, The Creator the future?
