"For this song, especially the 3rd verse, I want to make a Special Dedication to the shining memory of my Amazing Dad and Super Hero who recently passed away after a lengthy bout with Alzheimer’s Disease. I know a lot of people can relate to that verse and this song as a whole. If you are dealing with the struggle of experiencing a family member or friend who has Alzheimer’s Disease, just know that you are not alone and make sure they know that they are not alone either. Be there for them and Stay Strong for them! Take care of your Family always. Peace and Power." ~ Magestik Legend
My homeboy Mike Swoop just did a remix for Toki Wright's "More Fiya," the kick-off song from Toki's record, "A Different Mirror." Also of note: Mike Swoop's album, "New Love" is available to download on all digital retailers and can be purchased physically as well. Feel free to take a listen and let us know at TMB what you think!
Very rarely do I give stuff in my inbox a listen via email, especially if I don't know of the person in advance. But once I heard this cut from Capital Ode, it reminded me of some Jay-Z cut I may have heard during his "In My Lifetime" days where his flow was still oft-kilter and the melodies were reminiscent of something produced by Ski Beatz in the days of yore. But hey, take a listen and let us know at TMB what you think.
Damn, I got HYPED watching/listening to this right here. Shit gotta feel good to be in a cypher with beats that energize the Hip-Hop outta you and MCs to compliment them. Check it.
Watch Oddisee, Kenn Starr and Toine of DTMD freestyle of Soulful!'s "One 4 Kenn Starr." This beat can be found on Soulful!'s latest release, Mumbo Sauce & Drumbreaks.
Hanging out at DJ Quartermaine's spot (The Gold Room). Myself, Toine of DTMD & Kenn Starr decided to kick a few rhymes of this banger by DMV producer Soulful!

DUB MD PROMOTIONS x PRAVERB THE WYSE PRESENTS...
THE BRAINSTORMERS
"BRAINSTORMERS EP"
CAYOZ x PRAVERB x A.L LAUREATE x DJ GRAZZHOPPA x O*ZEE
"FEAT. CROOKED I x SKYZOO x HELL RAZAH x MANCHILD"
The Brainstormers were conceived due to the success of its predecessors. The Wu Tang Clan, Task Force, The Arsonists, The Jurassic 5, Slum Village, and most recently Slaughterhouse paved the way for the development of this group. Each member possesses a specific skill that is brought to the forefront.
The group consists of Cayoz, A.L. Laureate, Praverb, DJ Grazzhoppa & O*Zee. The true essence of this group is on display when they collectively attack a song. The Brainstormers are poised to make a mark in an industry that is cluttered with uninspired material. This EP will serve as an introduction to the collective.
