Check It ... e.d.g.e. x DJ Premier "Letters to the Editor"

Many of you know the story behind this DJ Premier beat. A few days ago it hit the net as a track that Kanye turned down because it was intended for the original concept of his last album. As soon as I heard it, I knew the Canadian emcee e.d.g.e. was going to attack it. DJ Premier is e.d.g.e.'s favorite producer. So, he took a timeout from working on his upcoming mixtape turned album, All Flow Everything, to drop this joint. It was less than a 24 hour turnaround. Check it out and as e.d.g.e. said, "your loss Mr. West." Ha! Enjoy.

Check It ... Chuuwee "Unfresh Prince"

I know I keep saying this about Chuuwee but I'm pretty sure the Sacramento emcee doesn't sleep. Project after project, track after track. Chuuwee keeps delivering dope music over and over again. His latest cut comes from his upcoming Look At Me Now project dropping Sunday night/Monday morning, compiled of a bunch of unreleased and older tracks. That should be cool. In the meantime, enjoy "Unfresh Prince." Chea!

Friday's Five Random Questions with @TheRealJayMills

Yes, Friday's Five Random Questions is back. I know you missed it. Ha!

And next up is The Real Jay Mills.

The first time I heard her was on the track "Trouble," featuring two other dynamite female emcees out of the DMV, Emperess and RAtheMC. I started checking for more music from her and found some of her older spoken word stuff and some of her raw and edgy Hip-Hop stuff. A few months back she responded to a request for a female emcee to rhyme over the "Devil In A New Dress" instrumental and delivered the fresh "feMC DIARY (Devil In A New Dress).”

Just recently she released a pretty fresh project, "Winter Sadness: PoetReMixtape Volume IV".

The Real Jay Mills is dope.

Anyway, this week she decided to take the challenge. Check out how she answered five random questions after the jump.

Marsha Ambrosius SexTape Pt3

Marsha, Marsha, Marsha... I didn't realize she'd put out a 3rd installment of her SexTape... I'm just saying... listen. I'm going to leave it at that.

If any of you listened to this while it was snowing and everybody was stuck in the house together... Good luck! Ha.

Download ... Otis Hamilton

I know, this is a project I've talked about for some time now. Well, it's finally here.

Otis Redding and Anthony Hamilton are two of my favorites. A few months back after putting together my last compilation Soulful Summer, I decided that I needed to put together an Otis and Anthony project. This is mostly because I struggled with deciding on just a few of their tracks to include on Soulful Summer.

Now, we are here - Otis Hamilton. There are some amazing tracks from both of these guys, including some of my favorites like "(Sittin' On The) Dock of The Bay" and "Mamma Knew Love" among others. Those tracks aren't on this compilation. I know, crazy huh?

With this project I wanted to go a different route. A love story from the break up to finding love again. I hope you enjoy Otis Hamilton just as much as I enjoyed making it.

Press play and zone out as OC Supreme would say. Enjoy.

01. You Left The Water Running - Otis Redding
02. Where Did It Go Wrong - Anthony Hamilton
03. Think About It - Otis Redding
04. Charlene - Anthony Hamilton
05. I'm A Mess - Anthony Hamilton
06. I've Got Dreams to Remember - Otis Redding
07. You Don't Miss Your Water - Otis Redding
08. Her Heart - Anthony Hamilton
09. Try A Little Tenderness - Otis Redding
10. Since I Seen't You - Anthony Hamilton
11. The Point of It All - Anthony Hamilton
12. Fallin In Love Again - Anthony Hamilton
13. Cigarettes and Coffee - Otis Redding
14. That's How Strong My Love Is - Otis Redding
15. These Arms of Mine - Otis Redding
16. The Day We Met - Anthony Hamilton
17. Do You Feel Me - Anthony Hamilton
18. For Your Precious Love - Otis Redding
