What EMS Is Listening To ... Shamar Forte - "Numbers & Letters"

I hardly ever look at Facebook Ads, but I just happened to glance at one promoting Shamar Forte. I listened to his music and I really like him. There is one song that I want to share called "Numbers & Letters." I'm not EXACTLY sure what genre to stick this in, but I think once you guys hear it, you'll like it. The song is a bit slower tempo song, with simple yet smooth vocals. He has some other songs available, "Echo" and "Showdown," which are also some of my favorites.

If you want to keep up with Shamar, check him out at www.shamarforte.com and Reverb Nation

Enjoy!

#latepass ... Warren Britt "The Britt ISH Is Coming"

I'm unsure how I missed posting Warren Britt's The Britt ISH Is Coming project. But after going back and checking the blog and noticing the miss, I had to rectify that situation and post this joint up albeit late. I definitely had to post this joint up especially after the incredible show Britt put on last night at the iHeartDilla.com co-sponsored Independent's Day Showcase down at Southpaw in Brooklyn. Warren Britt is a cool dude. Humble. And very talented. Enjoy The Britt ISH Is Coming. Chea!

What I'm Watching ... Xavier Pryce "Wack and Yellow"

XAVIER PRYCE - WACK AND YELLOW from ALL AREA CREW on Vimeo.

It's funny that I said how tired I was of the "Black and Yellow" covers. Especially those where people change the colors on the track (i.e. White and Purple). But then I received an email featuring this "Wack and Yellow" track from Xavier Pryce. Straight comedy. The visuals are dope too. The track takes on the groupies in the industry, including Kat Stacks. Ha! I fuks with this. Enjoy.

Check It ... Rugz D. Bewler "Mind Millimeter"

I liked Rugz D. Bewler's Save Bewler: The Memoirs of Muhammad Mc'Fly project. "Mind Millimeter" was a bonus track off that project and was produced by O. Da Butcher. According to Bewler's people over at Team Colours many didn't realize there was even a hidden bonus track, so they decided to release the track as a stand alone. It's definitely a fresh track that shouldn't be overlooked. Check it out and enjoy.

Check It ... Adebisi "Close My Eyes"

I always introduce Adebisi as the front man for one of my favorite groups out of Milwaukee, Fresh Cut Collective. But Adebisi is more than that. He's a talented emcee with a solo career and great music in his own right. He's in the process of working on a few different projects. He hit me up earlier today with a joint off of Hard Money, due to drop soon. Check out "Close My Eyes." It's definitely a dope track. Enjoy. Chea!
