Last April the California crew Verbal Taktiks released a pretty fresh project called Coffee House Chronicles Books I-VII: Morning Brew, which started off with this incredible spoken word intro and continued with some fresh rhymes over dope beats. I became a fan of their work. Verbal Taktiks return with the first single off of their follow up, Coffee House Chronicles Books 8-15: Full Cup. "Hip-Hop 101" is kind of a State of the Union on the current state of Hip-Hop, with a bit of lessons learned. Check it out. Chea!
Back in December San Francisco native, now Sacramento resident Styles1001 put out a pretty fresh project called The Solution. The project was produced entirely by him and featured Random Abiladeze, Chuuwee, Mahtie Bush, Tribe of Levi, JGood, Task1ne and Keno, among others. The first single featured Flow Montana on the rhyme, in the jazzy track "Everyday Life." Now Styles drops off the visuals for that track. Shot in both San Francisco and Sacramento, enjoy the fresh video and dope track. Chea!

"I'm a lyrical grenade / Throw me anywhere you think a rapper's putting a charade ..."
I heard this joint late last night. Khal over at RocktheDub hit me with it. I was immediately impressed by the throwback type of vibe Jermaine created on "The Crazy 88." The dude definitely flexes his lyricism on this joint. According to Khal, Jermaine is working on an ep. I'm interested in checking that out for sure. In the meantime, enjoy this track. Chea!
I was able to preview this project from PHZ-Sicks a few weeks back. It's a pretty solid listen. Today, he officially released The Laws of PHZ-Sicks. Download and enjoy. Chea!
Dope collection of music brought to you by Oddisee himself that's either featuring, written or produced by him. Listen, buy it, enjoy.
Happy new year to everyone. Here's a compilation of some of my favorite works in 2010. Thank you all for listening to my music, I hope you continue to do so. I'm excited for my 2011 releases, most of all for my solo album. My first official solo album "People Hear What They See" coming in May of 2011. Now back to work I go!
This might be my theme song considering I drive one of these, though it isn't an old school one. Fuck it. Still gonna ride to this. Check out Crew 54's latest produced by E.P. of The Dopplegangaz.
