Skillz + Jazzy Jeff + J.Period Present... "The Last Laugh (J.Period Didn't Do It! Remix)"

What I'm Watching ... Pharoahe Monch Premieres "Clap" From W.A.R. Album Live In London

Pharoahe Monch took to the London airwaves on Kiss 100s, Hip Hop Show on Sunday, hosted by Shortee Blitz and DJ MK, with a spontaneous live in-studio premiere performance of his new song, titled 'Clap'. Produced by M-Phazes and featuring Showtime on the chorus, "Clap" is the second song to be unveiled from Pharoahe's forthcoming album W.A.R. (We Are Renegades), due for release in 2011.

For fans in the US, catch Monch performing this song & more new material on his east coast tour alongside Sean Price, Buckshot, Smif N Wessun & Skyzoo.

Reality TV Needs "Boss Chicks"

As Reality T.V. is my sometimey guilty pleasure, I think this show just might be a good one. There are a lot of women in the industry, blogsphere and literary world who are doing great things. Talk Dat Ish Entertainment and VH-1 are looking to cast women who dominate in the industry and want to share their story. Now, I know quite a few women that rule this industry and if VH-1 casts the right ones, this show might be something worth watching. You MUST BE in the NYC area to participate. Connecticut's own Chris Webby is putting the finishing touches on his upcoming mixtape (still untitled) that will be dropping this fall and it will feature Joell Ortiz, Big K.R.I.T (among others) and production from Doc Ish and Cinematic Music's Johnny Shipes.

The first leak from that forthcoming mixtape is "Bulletproof" f/Joell Ortiz and produced by Evo--and the track samples La Roux's smash hit "Bulletproof."
