Eric Sosa ... Get Familiar

Summer is surely gone but Eric Sosa gives us something to remember it by. The video, "Summer of Love", a track off of his "Rhyme & Noodles": No Artificial Flavoring Vol. 1, was screened at the 310 Lounge in New York City and released earlier this month.

Eric Sosa is a rapper from Queens who has been making waves all over the place. Knowing he wanted to rap from the age of 11, he is on the path to success. From MTV2 to EssenceOnline.com to Urban Latino Magazine, his presence is huge and he's all over the place. Boasting cool and clever lyrics, Sosa manages to capture his audience every time. He has worked with a lot of artists and has future projects coming as well. From the grapevine, I hear that he will be working with other artists featured on this site including FCE artist G-Swagg, another Queens underground artist moving into the spotlight quick.

Aside from a cool lyrical style, Sosa's fashion sense is on point. Always neat and clean cut, Sosa has a style all his own. Speaking of style, Eric Sosa has teamed up with David Joseph, Owner of L'Creme Clothing to create a signature T-Shirt. Music and fashion go hand in hand so to have these two come together and create a product should prove to be nothing but successful.

The launch happens Tuesday, September 28th in NYC at the Vault. Nude Vodka, Flud Watches and DJ Ernie B on the 1 & 2's are all set to bring the product to light. The L'Creme Wildcat Tee (Eric Sosa Colorway) will be available on L'Creme Clothing's Official Website. They are exclusive issue and will only be available while supplies last. The launch event is exclusive to invite only but you can still RSVP to kvenna@theimgway.com for entrance confirmation, if there is still space available. In the meantime, log on to www.ericsosa.com for Eric Sosa updates and keep up! See you tomorrow at the Vault!

Check It ... Breez Evahflowin - "As He Goes ON..." (Full Snippet of the LP)

Shoutout to Dirt E. Dutch for the link on this. Check out Breez's latest.
With his last album receiving good reviews for the way it dealt with the angst of dealing with personal and artistic transition, Breez Evahflowin's newest album As He Goes On... set for release on October 12, 2010 reveals the mature MC: relaxed, confident, and wise. If the last album outlined the personal battles facing Breez as an MC, his newest release reveals the aftermath. Unpretentious, at peace with his status as a mature artist ready to leave the game, Breez delivers his closing argument. The verdict? As He Goes On... is the last testament of an MC. It's a title which alludes to the passing of a life.

What I'm Watching ... Blu (@HerFavColor) - "Your My Boy Blu"

Despite the accidental (or not, haha) spelling error in the title of the track, Blu has solidified his standings in my list of Hip-Hop MCs since teaming up Exile in "Below The Heavens". 'Her Favorite Color' is back with a new track in which the chorus uses a sample from the movie Old School and from De La Soul's Ego Trippin' (Part Two). For simply those two reasons, I am already a fan of this song. I'm digging this video. Check it.

What I'm Watching ... YahZarah - "Cry Over You feat. Phonte"

Here's a cool song and video from YahZarah featuring Phontigallo of her album "The Ballad of Purple St. James". Real smooth feeling on this. She's got a chill voice that can become very addictive to the ears while Phonte lyrically holds it down on the mic as usual.

What I'm Watching ... John Legend & The Roots - "You Got Me: Amex UNSTAGED"

If you have never got a chance to see The Roots live, you really need to break that habit. I've seen them about 6 times if I can remember correctly and every single time I loved it. Dope ass performers, people. Live performers. These guys are amazingly talented. Check it.
