Put seven emcees on a track at 16 bars each and you get a jawn over 5 minutes. That's cool cause these cats go in on "Se7en Deadly Sins". It's a pretty dope track. Check it.
"The first leak taken from Dub MD's forthcoming new Requiem EP, entitled "Se7en Deadly Sins" a Judah produced concept track that boasts 7 16's from some of underground Hip Hop's best up coming talent in the order of Laelo Hood, Sic Osyrus, Dominique Larue, Singapore Kane, Junclassic, Mr. Live and Sha Stimuli."
Donwill's "Don Cusack In High Fidelity" is still in heavy rotation. The "Love Junkie" Wallpaper remix is fresh. The joint dropped a few weeks back but Donwill provides some visuals in the Live Remix vid. Check it.
So, Toyota, this is how you're going to do it? Huh? [LMAO] But does the Swagger Wagon's brakes work? What? Too soon? By the way, where my mother-fathers at?! (AND can I possibly sneak another question mark in? YES!)

We appreciate getting new, different, good music in the inbox. Why? Because it's proof that music like that is out there. Just gotta look or ask around. Also, we get to share it with you. Check out Be.Water's latest effort. I'm digging it.
Hello Listeners! BE.water his name derived from the famous Bruce Lee quote about water, is an up-and-coming emcee/producer representing the Inland Empire, California and currently residing in Chicago, IL. He is on a quest to return the soul and meaning of hip hop to its original roots, freedom of expression. This is the 1st release from BE.water titled "Cassette Tapes" produced by Emperor Bohe. He has also worked on numerous projects with up and coming L.A. producer Jansport J.
I caught this track a while back on the "2010 Canadian Rap Future Superstars" mixtape. Enjoy "Where's the Cash at" by Chris Quotes, the track of the week.
The track is cool. I felt the need to share. Enjoy.
"ImpoliteSociety includes ELEE X & Westley Parker, two young Chicago native MCs who rhyme w/ a purpose and passion. We've been making our rounds w/ local, independent and college radio including Chicago's legendary WHPK and we've also opened for many of Chicago's well known hometown heroes. The "Look of Love" is a single from our forthcoming mixtape, "Can't Dance, Nor Do I Care to Learn. The "Look of Love" is us challenging 9th Wonder's remix of Slum Village's track of the same title. Hope y'all enjoy!"
I'm going to start this by saying, it's different.
Rob Roy is different.
It was a year ago I first wrote about him. It was his "Fur in My Cap" video that caught my attention (and a gang of other people). As I began to check his music, I knew this dude had something different to offer to music.
Yes, I used "different" three times because I can't stress that enough. Rob Rob remains a rare mix of talent and uniqueness. While "King Warrior Magician Lover" has been streaming online for over a year, it's now available for official download.
Like I said a year ago, he’s definitely not for everyone. He brings creativity and passion to his craft. I respect and dig that.
"When Rob Roy streamed his album "King Warrior Magician Lover" on imeem last year, it garnered 800,000+ plays in one week. His video for the song "Fur In My Cap" had the internet going nuts with the likes of Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake, Travis Barker, Chris Brown and ?uestlove all giving props to the multi-talented rapper/singer/producer. You might have heard him on HBO's "Entourage" or read about him in the pages of Nylon Guys and Giant Magazine.
Many of you have been looking for a way to find his full length album and now the wait is finally over. PLUS a digital song book with exclusive photos and all of Rob's lyrics."
Here are two of favorite cuts from this jawn, "Rollercoaster Baby" and "White Shoes". If you dig 'em, go 'head and download the full project.
It's funny when dope cuts don't make final projects yet so many cats put out albums full of joints that definitely should have been cut. Anyway, I caught the new joint in the email from Homeboy Sandman featuring PackFM "Bonkers" which didn't make the cut on his upcoming project. Speaking of his upcoming project, "The Good Sun" drops June 1st and PackFM's 'I F*cking Hate Rappers' drops May 25th.
It's quite possible that Sacramento could be our next stop on our Journey to Hip-Hop series because I've been stumbling upon quite a bit of talented emcees from the area.
J. Good, another example of the Hip-Hop coming out of Sacramento. While I've been hard on folks dropping projects with more than 10 tracks, his 21 tracks do deliver. The television show Scrubs provides the story line, while J. Good flows over a few industry beats. Overall it's a good project. Check out a few of my favorite cuts off the project, "Keep Pushin" and "Passing Me By(The Friend Zone)", and if you're digging 'em, go ahead and download the full project.
