TELL 'EM WHY YOU MAD: What the F' is a Wearable Towel?
If you own this or are thinking about buying it, 187 throat chop yourself IMMEDIATELY! I love how infomercials make it seem like you can't do basic things, like oh say ... um, putting on a towel! Seriously? A towel you wear is called an f'ing bathrobe! So, this wearable towel is obviously the eviler (yeah, I said eviler) twin of the snuggie. Damn, I'm missing out on good money inventions! I need to think of something that is completely useless that people need. Maybe I'll create the snuggie towel knife that gets rid of tough stains. Just a thought I suppose.

Tha Lady Blogga: Why so Ghetto Fab?
Is it just me or is television becoming more and more “Ghetto Fabulous”?
I remember when being on TV meant that you had a certain kind of talent or flair. As time moves on and the crap that we watch on TV increases, I am beginning to notice that “Ghetto Fabulous” is the way to go.
Let’s start with the First Lady of Ghetto… Wendy Williams. She went from radio to TV with the quickness. And it’s weird because on the radio, you wouldn’t really peg her to be so ghetto. But on TV, she gives herself away horribly. Her TV show, which happens to draw a lot of viewers, is just riddled with ghetto fabulous situations. Let’s start with the whole “How you doin’?” movement. It was funny on the radio because there was a specific time she would use it (those of you who are familiar with her radio show know exactly what I’m talking about). But on the show, she says it all the time, the guests say it, she has parents sending in videotapes of their children saying it… ABSOLUTE OVERKILL!
Let’s address the hair situation. It is one thing to be a wearer of weaves and wigs. But is it really necessary to pull and tug and adjust the wig on TV? Showing us that the part can slide from side to side is not very entertaining. I am glad all of the wigs look real Wendy but … Could you just wear them?
And is it really necessary for her to pick her teeth on TV? Oh and last but not least, drinking and toasting guests with wine, Nuvo, Skinny Girl Margaritas and other alcoholic beverages at 10 a.m. is a sure fire turn-off. How about serving some breakfast with orange juice? Just wondering.'
Let’s move on to those darling little Housewives of Atlanta. When this show first came on last season, I was excited to see women of color who were business savvy, wealthy, fashion conscience and successful. This season, the ghetto fab is just too much for me. The women have now become a stereotype of what people expect to see of women of color …
Lisa Wu-Hartwell is broke and her house is in foreclosure. She had to move. Kandi is going to marry a man with four baby mama’s and six kids (and she has a child of her own). Kim was down with the clique however she mysteriously has transformed into “trailer park trash” and she smokes Newport Lights. Nene (well the name speaks for itself) was always ghetto. And well Sheree is perceived as a gold-digging ex-wife of an ex NBA player who also suffered foreclosure and had to move. The women are now fighting in the street, bouncing checks and are not as prosperous and classy as I first viewed them to be.
People find “Ghetto Fab” entertaining and it is in high demand. It started with the likes of talk show hosts Jerry Springer and Maury Povich and has been on the incline ever since. Then we have stations like BET who promote Ghetto Fab daily. People love it. It is sad because this stuff is viewed worldwide. The way these people look on TV is the way that all people of color are viewed to behave. I don’t know about you but, I am far from the Wendy Williams type.

Slaughterhouse - Onslaught 2
I have to. Sue me. But I have to post another song off their album. I hope, no, I pray that you purchased the SLAUGHTERHOUSE album. Especially if you have been crying about what's the radio been playing, if you even listen to that shit box. Here are four of some of the illest MCs in the game as we speak. You let me know who can challenged them solely then you tell me who can as a group? I'm sure there are many that may and I may even agree on some of them. But this album is a must for any lyrical enthusiast. This track is definitely one of my favorites on the album. Check it out......

Satisfactory Tip Guaranteed!
I eat out at restaurants a lot. Personally, it's because I'm too lazy to cook myself and also because I'm out a lot. Makes sense, doesn't it? Well, recently I was on vacation a few weeks back and obviously there's not much I can do about eating out. Funny thing is that in areas most visited by those on vacation, prices are higher. And in some areas, much higher. But that was to be expected.
I've had debates and discussions for years back and forth about the restaurant industry and how the wait staff's income is much lower than most other positions of employment. Q and I spoke on this time and time again. I feel like you can't really complain about what you're getting paid when there's other jobs available that will pay you more. Even working at the mall, you may be able to get paid more. You chose that job. I didn't make you work there. I hear the argument is that tips can put them over that edge that makes applying for the position more tempting.
Before I get tons of hate mail, let me set the record straight. I tip. And I do it 99.9% of the time. As much as I might disagree with it, I tip. I don't get tips where I work. Argument is I get paid a lot more. My rebuttal is "Well, no one told you to work at a restaurant. You could make more working as a cashier somewhere." But the debates never ends.
So back to the story, I'm on vacation. Didn't notice till maybe the 3rd day that pretty much anywhere I went to eat, gratuity was included. My thoughts.......who ok'd this idea? What type of B.S. is that? And is it still considered "gratuity" if I have no choice but to add it?
According to Encarta, gratuity is defined as money given in appreciation: a small gift, usually of money, given to somebody such as a waiter as thanks for service given.
So how can you call it gratuity when you force me to give it to you? I can't co-sign on that. For that reason and for a much bigger reason I'm not advocating this mess is that what will guarantee that I get satisfactory service if you know beforehand that you are already getting your tip? You can be a dick to me. Forget to give me utensils or even a straw. Don't refill my drink. Give me what I didn't order and then take your sweet ass time getting me what I originally ordered. All while chit chatting in the back with your other co-working tip enforcers.
Yeah, that pretty much ticked me off. But.....service was adequate so what do I do? Not much. Paid the bill and went on my way to spend more of my money, at times unwillingly, throughout the week. I mean, after all, I was on vacation.
