Big K.R.I.T. x Yelawolf "Happy Birthday Hip-Hop"

I'm a Big K.R.I.T. fan. But you should already know that. I'm also a Yelawolf fan. They're both dope emcees. Last year they announced they were cooking up a joint project and while we haven't heard much movement on that front, they released "Happy Birthday Hip-Hop" earlier today. Apparently the track will be featured on K.R.I.T.'s upcoming Last King 2: God’s Machine ahead of his Live From The Underground project due out September 27th. This joint is solid. Enjoy. Chea!

What I'm Watching: Yelawolf “Daddy’s Lambo”

I fucks with Yelawolf. Musically the dude is dope and personally, he seems down to earth. I've never not nodded my head when a Yelawolf track was on. I've also peeped a gang of interviews with him and he's always humble and cool about his musical rise. Now a member of the Shady crew, including Em and Slaughterhouse, he's among some lyrical powerhouses. But Yelawolf holds his own. Anyway, the first time I heard "Daddy's Lambo" I thought the track was dope. Now we have a video to match the cut. Fresh. Funny that (spoiler alert) home chick had to pee and that dude peeled out like a scene from Bang Bus, allegedly of course. Ha! Enjoy the video. Chea!

@MTVRapFix x @Yelawolf x @ScholarMan

So, I'm tuned into MTV RapFix Live this afternoon, and Yelawolf, one of my favorite heads making music right now was the featured guest. So, Sway (the host of the Internet-based show) gets to a segment, Get In The Game, where they feature an unknown artist and the featured guest offers them some advice.

Most of the time it's someone I've never heard of. And then I hear the name ScholarMan. If you've been following the blog long enough, you know that I'm a fan of ScholarMan and we've been supporting his work for as long as it has been hitting our inbox. ScholarMan is a dope emcee out of Maryland who makes some incredible music. It was dope to see an artist of his caliber get some recognition on the show.

So, props to the homie. Check out his music. He definitely has some dope stuff.

Big K.R.I.T. "Something" x Yelawolf "Pop The Trunk" (Travis Barker Remixes)

I probably can't say this enough places that Big K.R.I.T. is one of my favorite heads on the XXL Freshman cover and Yelawolf is the other. So, with that said check out the Travis Barker remix to K.R.I.T.'s "Something" and the live set with Yelawolf on his "Pop The Trunk" track. Both dope and Travis definitely brings more energy to two already fresh jawns. Enjoy. Chea!

Yelawolf "The Boy Who Cried Wolf"

This is me telling you again about Yelawolf. Don't say six months from now I didn't say anything. I did. More than once. Anyway, peep the min-doc about "the evolution of Yelawolf, from Peoples Park in Berkeley where he spent a year as a mostly homeless skate-rat to the studio at Different Fur." It's a fresh look. Enjoy.

Interview: Yelawolf x EZO Magazine

Yelawolf is dope. I listened to his Trunk Muzik: 0 – 60 project three times this morning alone. During a photo shoot with EZO Magazine, Yelawolf chopped it up about music, the origins of his name and more. Check it out. And get familiar with Yelawolf!
