#ThrowbackThursday w/@ladyblogga ... "When a Woman's Fed Up"

Women are very interesting creatures and men just don’t get that. When it is that we’ve had enough of enough, it’s a done deal pretty much. There’s nothing anyone can say, or do to change that. There are a lot of things we are willing to stand for but a lot of things we just won’t. Relationships are hard enough without all the extra. And yes I know that sometimes we (women) are hard to deal with but you know what, you know that going in. People know what they are dealing with when they get themselves into certain situations. And that goes for women as well. Don’t get it to a point where you have her saying this fellas because once she’s fed up, there ain’t nothing’ you can do about it…. And it’s too late to talk about it. I always laugh at this song because some dudes would NEVER admit that this is how they really feel. And the ones that do, kudos to you. That’s what it’s all about.

ThrowBack Thursday ... The Roots "Break You Off"

Sooooooo … This has got to be one of my favorite tunes of all times. The Roots “Break You Off”, is a classic. There is a lot of talent in this video that had yet to pop. Musiq is killin’ the hook. Roland “Wee-Bay” Brice (HBO’s the Wire) is playing the angry boyfriend. The Roots never disappoint on a track though. I love the concept of this song. So prevalent to what’s fresh in our society. A modern day Sodom and Gomorrah. Well not that bad, but the commitment situation out here is serious folks. People want to have their cake and eat it too. Men can’t handle a step out and us women well, it’s all about what we allow. The ending to this video has become a sad reality… Enjoy.

Throwback Thursday – Eric B & Rakim “Juice - Know the Ledge”

So do you remember where you were the night the movie Juice came out?? I do. And I remember being hyped up after watching the flick. Even though this movie is not Academy Award material, I enjoyed it and it has meaning to all the people growing up in the ‘hood. To this day there are young men in the hood trying to be the “Bishop” and end up the same way he did. Tupac did his thing and so did Omar Epps. But who better to do the anthem than my all time favorites, Eric B. & Rakim ... Enjoy!!!
