SPEAK Easy - "Mourning Would" (prod. by Da Ricanstrukta)

SPEAK Easy ain't playing. Word up. Took just a few seconds for this track to put that stank expression on my face. From the head nodding, nostalgic sounding production to Easy making it sound just that on the mic, "Mourning Would" gets the official stamp of approval from me. I love this Hip-Hop. No doubt. Hit play to hear what I'm talking about.

Monster House "Chronicles"

Wisconsin based SPEAK Easy, Panic and Audio Pilot are Monster House. Their Raiders of The Lost Art album was one of my favorite projects this year. This cut was always a standout. Shouts to Uni-Fi Records and Monster House for letting me a part of the project. Anyhoo, enjoy the music. Chea!

Like the album cover that hides SPEAK's face the idea behind this project was to have the listener hear what he had to say before making judgment. From the feel good songs like Kinda Vibe to the more serious and personal tracks that are sprinkled through out the album, SPEAK Easy and Uni-Fi Records add yet another solid project to their catalog!

Uni.Fi Records Presents Speak Easy + Break Bread

The good folks over at Uni.Fi Records dropped off two new tracks in my inbox featuring two of Milwaukee's hardest working emcees.

The first cut comes from SPEAK Easy from his upcoming Just Saying EP due out early 2012 in collaboration with Uni.Fi. The track is produced by Ed Cayce (1/2 of The Hollowz). This is another solid joint from SPEAK. The second joint comes from BREAK BREAD (Dana Coppa and Ricanstrukta). As part of their upcoming project, The Reunion, due out this winter is also a solid cut.
