How many dope emcees can you fit in one track before your repeat function stops working? These cats don't play on that mic. New joint off Diamond D's "The Diam Piece" album, which features a boat load of emcees with extensive Hip-Hop credentials, and it's out now!
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!!! One of the most anticipated albums this year for me personally is from the Barrel Brothers. Every track I've heard so far has been straight boom bap fire. This right here! This shit right here!!! They added Sean Price and Guilty Simpson with production from Black Milk and you got some Hip-Hop nuclear heat. Shit. This is dope.
Are you ready for the damage the Barrel Brothers are gonna do to Hip-Hop with their lyrical, boom bap music that's guaranteed to come out of their album?! !llmind on the production with this one. Maaaaaaaan.
Off his last project in his 12th stop of 'The Rent Tape Series' coming out on December 24th, Sha Stimuli drops "Rapping Paper" featuring more dope emcees with Skyzoo and Torae. Peep it.
The full project, The Present, will be available for free download on Monday, December 24th on Bandcamp.com. All tracks are produced by The Dynamite Bruhz for Salem Psalms Library and all cuts are by three-time Scribble Jam champion Dj Precyse.
EP Features: Planet Asia, J Live, Boog Brown, Reks, Big Pooh, Jamal Buford, Playboy Tre, and many others.
You really can't go wrong with a Skyzoo featured track. Ahead of the DJ Booth-sponsored EP, Timeless Classic due out next Tuesday, South African producer The Militia drops off this dope cut featuring Skyzoo and Rome Clientel. I definitely dig that old school vibe. Hit play and enjoy for yourself. Chea!
Shoutout to the homie O for hitting me up and everyone else involved in this dope look into a few artists whose stars have been continuing to get brighter. Make sure you peep it on fuse this July 4th.
Take a journey into the world of 9 independent artists in hip hop working towards one common goal... Greatness!
Fred The Godson, Man-u-iLL, Nitty Scott MC, D. Chamberz, Chris Webby, Skyzoo, Soul Khan, Tanya Morgan And Sene!
Listen as their stories unfold, see a journey through the eyes of these 9 living their dreams out loud.
Brooklyn's Son-Ray is gearing up for the release of his new ep Face Value, due out May 29th. In the meantime he unleashes the Skyzoo assisted Music Is My Life, with Babieqirl on the hook. I dig it. Hit play and enjoy.
Skyzoo jumps into the new year continuing his mean streak, with a bit of carry over from last year's The Great Debater. Solid video with Christopher Wilkes and Dave Canon sharing director duties. Enjoy. Chea!
Bars on bars on bars is what you get from Skyzoo. Beats on beats on beats is what you get from !llmind. When you put them together, you get an incredible combination. Today Skyzoo released his The Greater Debater Revisted, available on iTunes for $7.99 with four new bonus tracks. In addition to enjoying this track Rocket Science, fans in the New York Tri-State area can see Skyzoo tonight for free.99 at the Apple Store in SoHo (103 Prince Street at Greene Street) at 7pm. Boom!
It's Thursday and I have another fresh line-up of videos from the likes of Skyzoo, Hopie Spitshard and Mike Classic. Three quality joints. Peep them after the jump. Enjoy. Chea!
Jay-Z and Kanye dropped Otis. And then everyone else dropped Otis remixes, disses and freestyles. Great. But that's the Internets for you. We're back on that Lil Wayne A Milli or Drake's Best I Ever Had steez. At least 20 or more Otis versions have hit my inbox. To be frank, those all sucked. In my opinion and allegedly of course.
But there are always bright spots. Always, even though sometimes they get lost in the over-saturation.
The two joints I've liked the most are the ones I've bumped in to on the Internets. One of those versions is from Skyzoo (the other is Styles P and Jadakiss). He's about that spit dope bars life. I can dig it. And I can definitely dig what he did with "Boat Check In". In the over-saturated world of internet hits, Skyzoo delivers. Hit play and enjoy. Chea!
There are a lot of solid tracks on Skyzoo's new project, The Great Debater. This is perhaps one of the strongest and a favorite, produced by !llmind, Skyzoo continues to flex his lyrical muscle. Served up in a fresh, yet simple video directed by Kenneth Price, I dig "Test Drive". Enjoy. Chea!
Check out this free joint by The Brainstormers. Cool joints here.
DUB MD PROMOTIONS x PRAVERB THE WYSE PRESENTS...
THE BRAINSTORMERS
"BRAINSTORMERS EP"
CAYOZ x PRAVERB x A.L LAUREATE x DJ GRAZZHOPPA x O*ZEE
"FEAT. CROOKED I x SKYZOO x HELL RAZAH x MANCHILD"
The Brainstormers were conceived due to the success of its predecessors. The Wu Tang Clan, Task Force, The Arsonists, The Jurassic 5, Slum Village, and most recently Slaughterhouse paved the way for the development of this group. Each member possesses a specific skill that is brought to the forefront.
The group consists of Cayoz, A.L. Laureate, Praverb, DJ Grazzhoppa & O*Zee. The true essence of this group is on display when they collectively attack a song. The Brainstormers are poised to make a mark in an industry that is cluttered with uninspired material. This EP will serve as an introduction to the collective.
The homie from the north, Ritchcraft, remixes the CL Smooth featuring Skyzoo track "Perfect Timing". Ritch did a pretty good job. It's fresh. I dig it. I hope you enjoy. Chea!
