A nice find in the inbox right here. Short and sweet, oh and free!
An 8 track instrumental EP that pays homage to the legendary UK singer. A solid blend of her soulful, uplifting vocals, Jazzy backdrops, Afro rhythms plus that good ol' boom bap.
There's not much to say about Sade that hasn't already been said. Listening to the English rhythm and blues band, Sade, is the perfect way to end your night. With smooth and seductive vocals, Sade's lead singer has the ability to lift the weight of the world off of your shoulders. An awesome throwback from the early 90s, here is "Kiss of Life" from the 1992 album Love Deluxe.
I'm a few days late on this one too but damn, Sade is back! I think it's foolish to compare her and her music to any other artist. A few days ago, someone was popping off about Sade couldn't hold a candle to Beyonce. That's the problem with some people, they don't really understand music. They get caught in their stan stance and assume that everyone is coming after their favorite artist. Chill out. Sade rides in her own lane. Foolish to think otherwise. Well, this is the new joint, "Solider of Love", from the forthcoming album. Enjoy.
"Today Sade releases the first single from a new album, Soldier of Love. The title track “Soldier Of Love,” which Sade co-produced with Mike Pela, was written by Sade along with longtime collaborators Andrew Hale, Stuart Matthewman and Paul Spencer Denman. The song, featuring a pulsating and anthemic drum beat along with haunting vocals that Sade is known for, is now set to hit airwaves and will kick off the countdown for Soldier of Love. Recorded in England and set for release worldwide on February 8th, Soldier of Love marks Sade’s first studio album since the multi-platinum release of Lovers Rock in 2000."
