In Episode #13 the world is introduced to super-producer MoSS. Admittedly an elusive cat, MoSS appears w/ Eternia on FLOW 93.5 FM in Toronto to debut the world premiere of a song from "AT LAST". DJ Premier, Termanology and Statik Selektah speak on why MoSS is that dude, and MoSS gets excited over some banned vinyl from Chile. Just another day in the studio...

In Episode #12, Eternia and beatboxer Chesney Snow take us on a journey to the Midwest for the "B-Girl Be" 2009 Festival. E shoots around "E-Theories" with Evidence (Dilated Peoples), discusses the Midwest's fave past time w/ DJ Chela, meets a die-hard supporter who drove five hours to see E rock and fits in a lil' target practice of her own. Who said anything about gun control?
In Episode #11, Eternia provides a scathing critique of the "R.I.P. to All Female Emcees" media hype that has recently surfaced. She builds with the legendary MC Lyte and Jean Grae, as all 3 ladies shut down the 'where are all the female emcees?' rhetoric that has run rampant. The episode also introduces two other emcees killing the game: True Daley and Nemiss, who murk the stage ... and happen to be female.
In Episode #10, Eternia introduces the viewers to the musicians she plays with: DJ Boo, Chesney Snow, & Colin Dean. They are joined on stage by Grammy-award winner Maya Azucena for their Encore. Pumpkinhead has to make up for missing E's set, and as usual E gets the official stamp of approval from a few "co-signs" at the end of the night... then tells 'em what she's really after...

In Episode #9, Eternia works with Project Reach Youth to spread the message of safe sex in Brooklyn. E is interviewed by Lovely, a 17-yr-old young lady from Bed-Stuy, who asks E vital Q's about her upbringing & depictions of women in Hip Hop. The highlight of the day is the Open Mic in the hood, where the youth share life as they see it. Definitely candid. Definitely unplugged.
Episode #4 features Eternia receiving an Encore @ the legendary Lyricist Lounge show in NYC, while performing unreleased tracks from the new album “AT LAST” for the first time. Jeru the Damaja hosts the event and speaks on Eternia’s skills, and Eternia leaves a fan from NJ at a loss for words. Over the next 6 months, Eternia will release steady video & audio leaks leading up to the release of Eternia & MoSS's debut album, "AT LAST". We featured Eternia on the blog a while back! The moment we landed on her MySpace page, we knew she was DOPE!! She's been on her grind for a while, but recently completed her project with producer MoSS -- Eternia & MoSS: "AT LAST". Now they're on the road to shopping for a record deal, promoting the album and countdown to the release date and she's taking fans along for the ride. She'll be dropping two videos monthly. We'll definitely be keeping tabs and featuring her on the blog! Definitely trying to support the grassroots movement and good music!
This first video is an introduction. Respect her sense of humor cause I laughed hard at the mask she's wearing. Nothing funny about those rhymes though. She's got a dope personality.
I delivered our album master & album artwork to the Ontario Arts Council this past Monday June 1st. The OAC was our main 'investor' for the project, and we were working towards their deadline over the last year and a half. I suppose I should be breathing a sigh of relief, right? The album is finally finished... At Last!
But who am I kidding... the work is really just beginning.
We still have to shop the album to record labels, and Lord Willing find a deal that is the lesser of countless evils. Once those meetings are over, and a contract finalized, we have to set a release date. Then we have to promote the hell outta our new album for 4 months leading up to that date. I'm talkin radio, live shows, blogs, press, reviews, youtube videos, corny "look who eternia was caught kissing!" publicist propaganda... *LOL*.. I jest, I jest. But u get the idea :-). And all that to say, its really when the album drops that we'll know where we're at. When YOU GUYS, the people that really matter, get to tell us what YOU think. We Made This Album for You.
So that's the day I am counting down to. Because that's what trully matters.
So, over the next 6 months I invite you to come along on a journey with MoSS and I: the Road to Release Day.
I'm going to be doing what I do best: no holds barred video, photos & text coverage of our experience. This is the one place you will get an exclusive backstage pass to my life (LOL - that just sounds so self-important - I can't help but laugh at myself).
