Neeeeeeeeeeeew shit!!! Rapper Big Pooh and Roc C. Aight! Got that boom bap, no frills rap feel. Diggin' it. Check the visuals.
For almost a decade, emcees Rapper Big Pooh and Roc C have put in serious work, consistently releasing dope music and collaborating with the most respected emcees and producers in the rap game. Naturally, it felt right for the two veterans to join forces for a bicoastal collaborative album. And thus, the pair have released Trouble In The Neighborhood.
Blending their styles to create a cohesive 11-track project wasn't simple, but it's something Pooh and Roc agreed would sound the most authentic. "We call it controlled chaos," explains Big Pooh. A sample of their creative chemistry is evident in "The Crew," the album's Booth-featured lead single.
The project has a heavily West Coast-influenced sound, which is due in large part to production contributions from Evidence, Focus..., S1 and others. And with appearances from Alchemist, Chaundon, Joe Scudda, MED, T3 (of Slum Village) and more, lyric-loving fans won't be disappointed. “It’s me and Roc coming together and causing ruckus on records,” explains Big Pooh.
