@Royceda59, Kid Vicious, Duece Bug & BC Connect at Toad's Place (Pics + Vid)
Toad's Place on Friday, September 9th got to host Royce Da 5' 9", one of Hip-Hop's illest MCs. But he wasn't alone. Kid Vicious came through with him to help rile the crowd up and also perform a few solo tracks himself. The night began with a Full Blast of dope music by cats like BC Connect, and Duece Bug who never performs without Connecticut's Illest Hypeman, Chuck Nickels aka Itz Urboi! Those in attendance got to witness what a really good Hip-Hop show should feel like, look like and sound like from beginning to end.
Though Toad's wasn't packed to the back of the walls, at times, it sounded like it was. Crowd participation was at a level that those representing Full Blast is known to achieve. Some time during the performance, the Full Blast crew paid respect to one of their fallen soldiers who recently lost his life, hence the "Flick My Bick / R.I.P. Lighta" shirts the cats were rocking.
By the time Royce Da 5' 9" and Kid Vicious came out, it seemed like all they had to do was perform. All eyes were on them, as well as their ears. Hands were up and lyrics were being recited at the top of their lungs. I was able to get a few shots in so take a look. Dopeness.

Check It ... Mindz-I Ent. presents FUZEONFEST 2011 ft KRS-One, Mr. Lif, Duece Bug, Jacobi Wichita and more. (Photos)
It was an exciting night brought to you by the folks over at Mindz-I Entertainment. Seems like every show they present, it gets bigger and bigger. This time wasn't any different when they hosted a bunch of rock and Hip-Hop acts at Toad's Place. As you can see from the flyer and the photos, it was a wild and dope night.
The show started at 5:30pm on that Sunday and didn't end till around 1:30 in the morning. When I tell you that I was beat, trust me and know that that's an understatement. The night turned out great with all the music each act performed as well as the breakers in the audience. It was pretty dope to see artists I know such as DJ Mo Niklz, Duece Bug, Chuck Nickles, Blacastan and Pruven on the same stage as Mr. Lif and the legendary KRS-One and perform along with Mr. Lif even. Apathy, a really talented MC out of CT and affiliated with the Demigodz, hosted the evening and got to enjoy it from the sidelines.
With so much to recall, I figured I'd let the photos tell the story. You know The Mad Bloggers had to be there and I didn't let off with the camera work either. So here's a bunch of pics you can take a look through and see what you missed if you didn't go or reminisce on the night if you were there. Check it.

Drake @ Toad's Place in New Haven, CT
Just wanted to hit you up with some pictures and videos from his performance at Toad's Place in New Haven, CT a little while back. Place was packed to the walls, granted with youngn's but what can you do. Amazing for a dude with a mixtape album. Sold the spot out. Fits about 800 people. He did his thing. Nothing I was in awe about. In my opinion, he's less of a performer than an artist. Either way, check it out....
(I apologize for the sound.)
