What I'm Watching: Maal Himself "Ms. Beverly Hills" feat. Jon Frost & The Diva

After a few previews, Maal Himself serves up the fresh visuals for the Jon Frost and The Diva featured track, Ms. Beverly Hills. Produced by Freek Van Workum and Jon Frost, with cuts from DJ Adamocity and guitar by Sean Williamson, video director Mark Gage really brings the track alive. I dig it. Hit play and enjoy for yourself. Chea!

SNEAK PEEK: Maal Himself "Ms. Beverly Hills" (Trailer)

Folks that know me typically know I don't post too many trailers. Actually I can recall the few other times that I have. But I'm excited about the new Maal Himself project and I'm eager to peep the full visual for his Ms. Beverly Hills track released back in June. The cut features The Diva and Jon Frost, and the video stars Maal Himself and Esmeralda Vargas, with Mark Gage behind the lens. It looks like this video is cray. Ha! Look for the full length vid soon. In the meantime enjoy the sneak peek. Chea!

Artist Profile: The Arrival of Maal Himself

This is a moment I've been waiting for.

I'm sure there are many in Milwaukee that would echo my sentiments. Maal Himself has stepped out as a solo artist and he's doing so on his own terms, as he delivers up his first track from his upcoming project.

I've been following Maal since I first stumbled on the MKE Hip-Hop scene and I've been a fan of his work. Part of the dope crew Misen Lync, this will be his first solo offering since becoming active in the scene three years ago in July. I'm sure I'm not the only person excited about the forthcoming project.

I connected with Maal to talk about stepping out as a solo artist and what we can expect with the new project. Peep the Q&A after the jump.
